As far as I know it is. It, and the White Rim Road it connects to are very popular.

is that a dried up river bed
@dave3b5d5 ай бұрын
I'm no geologist but I think it's an ancient lake bed, carved over eons by wind, rain and flowing water. But I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again. 🙂

Kinda odd you didn’t make a extra view of the Zeus and Moses towers at the end. Did you know they were named?
@dave3b5d6 ай бұрын
Yes (see my description) on a previous trip we hiked the trail up and around Moses and Zeus. It's quite nice. On this trip we hiked further out the Taylor Canyon wash.

My wife and I in our separate Jeeps (2009 Rubicon and 2015 Unlimited) drove the entire White Rim loop and Taylor Canyon in 2015 after it rained the night before. Lots of mud😲. Three days and camped along the way. Camp sites in high demand. One of our best off road adventures. Great video!

Hey Dave! Do you think I could reach this in a Stock Ford Explorer 2005, doesn't seem nearly as bad as some of the deeper parts of the basin road.
@dave3b5d Жыл бұрын
When I was there six years ago, the road was easily passable in my Subaru Crosstrek, starting from the northwestern end of White Rim Road. Unless the road has gotten a lot worse you'll have no trouble in an Explorer.
