This isn't about keeping his music alive. Jimi ensured that more or less all by himself. He left his mark & nobody, and I do mean nobody can ever replicate or duplicate it. Leave his memory alone & let the music speak for itself.

These shows are fantastic! I've been to 3. Covid put a crimp in it. Glad it's back. Come to Denver please. This year you went to Colorado Springs. That's great but come to Denver also or instead. Thanks

Absolutely love Jimi but when prices are $250 for the bad seats and $500 for decent seats I'll pass

They usually do smaller venues so there are no bad seats. As far as prices go...it sux but their expenses are way higher so I understand. Plus you get to see multiple bands.

I agree but seeing shows is just way more expensive in what, last 4 years? Little teens pay like 500 to see Taylor in a big stadium...sad! Compared to us going to tremendous concerts back in the day for like 10 or 20 bucks....

@jmason61 Think about the increase in expenses for them. Transportation and pay wages are way more expensive and venues are charging more rent. I've seen the Furs a dozen times and never paid more than $30 usually $20, but last month it was $175. It sux but I don't think most, I say most, bands are gouging. Plus these shows at Experience Hendrix have multiple acts.

I'm not thinking it's the bands/artist themselves but all up the chain everybody in the live music business is charging huge prices. & for sure it's because of streaming etc too. Back when even a mid level act could sell a release (LP/compact disc/cassette) & make some $ then go on the road..

@jmason61 yeah. Roadies used to work for board and party favors maybe some minimum wage type cash...now they get expenses plus $16 to $20 an hour. And they used to have one or two roadies now it's 6 or more. But when major acts are charging $500 to $2000 per seat I'd say there's definitely some gouging and too many middle men.
