I don't remember writing this question because it was so long ago lol but I think I wondered about the thickness of the 1st and 12th fret because I was after buying a smaller scale guitar. I have smaller hands and wanted to see if it would help using a smaller scale guitar for some fast solos I were not able to get up to full speed on. I later found some smaller scale guitars (fenders, Jacksons and Ibanez PGM mikro) in a store near me and tested them out. I ended up later buying the Ibanez PGM mikro. The quality of the guitar neck is suprisingly good on atleast my guitar and felt much better compared to the shorter scale Fender ones I tested for what I remember. It's a little bit easier to play some parts with the PGM mikro that where harder for me on normal scale guitars. However I wished that guitar manufacturers made true scaled down electric guitars. The shorter scale guitars are often just smaller when it comes to the scale (the distance between frets) however they are not equally as small when it comes to the string spacing I think it's called (nut width). They should be around 38 mm but are instead 41-43 mm. The PGM mikro is 41 which feels better but it would be nice to test a true scaled down guitar with 38mm. I remember testing a Angus Young signature guitar with 38 mm nut width and I loved it.

The lag is the playing . Never done Slap and pop or played this before. So I was late on most notes and some I didn't even get lololo :) This was just showing what Rocksmith is about. Cheers

Thanks for your comment JerFPV. That was my son playing hes given up he just games :(. He didn't practice these tracks and it shows how sloppy at times he was and was not sure what notes was coming next lolol. He had Guitar lessons and drum lessons but todays kids want ps4s and xboxs more. Thanks again for your message

Dan Hammack well i kindof disagree on the part, in my perspective, learning songs will let your hand improve on moving in the fret, learning chords, guitar techniques, etc (depending on which songs you choose and how you choose to play them) honestly im getting the game to improve those function (although i am a beginner and that can ruin my insight) and move on to music theory and so on after so i have a good transition to it. I feel like learning songs is a good way to drive up motivation and lower stress sometimes when you figure out how to play them when learning the guitar.

It may be good for muscle memory but does it teach you how to read music, or even use standard tablature? The answer is no. Is theory, scales, etc emphasized? Again the answer is no. I think Yousician, and Rock Prodigy are more complete teaching tools. Look for ImaginaryLemon's comment below, he sums up exactly how I feel.

Hi Yes this lets you set the speed of the song. And how many notes you want to see as in part of the song going up to the full song. Also Rocksmith 2014 has lessons to learn and some games to. You will have more fun with this than learning on your own or just tab. This is the old version if you get this get the newer Rocksmith 2014 version.
