It was pretty fun! Unfortunately the 1st weekend got stale pretty quickly because only 1 gun was usable (the Jackal PDW) because of how over powered it was. But weekend 2 was better with them adding more guns, and reducing the damage range on the Jackal. I'm excited for the full release of the game in only 3 weeks now. Should be a good game, and hopefully Warzone also gets revived a bit with new guns/movement in the game. It's been very boring in recent times with basically no proper updates to the big map in many months.

@@kranjos yeah I’m not sure, I enjoyed it but I haven’t played wz in years now. The maps sucked I thought. And the ones they have shown off don’t look that great. I’ve played cod since 2007 and I genuinely don’t know if I’ll get this one. It just isn’t what it used to be :(

@DaveyGrimmett Yeah in my opinion CoD hasn't been genuinely fun since Black Ops 3. I have enjoyed some games at times, but nothing even gets close to BO3 in the last 10 or so years. What I found with the maps was that Skyline was fun in almost any mode (but I'm not a fan of the new Kill Order mode). Derelict was only enjoyable in Hardpoint. Team Deathmatch and Domination were terrible. Scud and Rewind were decent in Hardpoint, average in Domination, and bad in Team Deathmatch. And Babylon was just bad in every way. Hoping for some more maps that are like Skyline 🙂

@@Barraboss89 Just wanted to let you know that I play on a PS5, so I'm definitely not wallhacking. And those kills as 3:26, I'm not sure if you noticed, but as I'm shooting through the smoke created by my Overwatch Helo, I can see 3 different red name tags pop up. So I know where the enemies are, and how many there are. The 3rd kill with the pistol is just called aim assist. I play on controller, so naturally the aim sticks to players more than someone who plays on mouse & keyboard.

Yeah with the new season update that happened a couple of weeks ago, they added the DNA Bomb, which kills the entire enemy team once you get a 25 kill streak with only your gun, knife, or equipment (so no killstreaks count). So they have removed the MGB (nuke) that required you to get 30 kills without dying, and would end the game and kill everyone in the lobby (including you). The MGB had more of a build up to it, but I never liked how you got an extra death added to your stats due to calling it in. Imagine being like 45-0 and getting the nuke, then you end the game and your stats read 51-1 because the nuke kills you, doesn't seem as good as 51-0 😅

@@kranjos that sucks! The nuke rewards was the only reason I kept playing mw2 and then they didn’t have any rewards this year and now they’ve just removed it?? That’s stupid!

Yeah I mean the DNA bomb was the "nuke" in Advanced Warfare back in 2014/15, so they've brought it back as a bit of a throwback I think, but it is a bit underwhelming.

Yeah I don't know that going back to the TAQ-56 would be the move though. I agree that being forced to use only the MCW gets repetitive and boring, but I would rather a new Assault Rifle get added to the game that is similar to the MCW, but maybe has a slightly faster fire rate, with a tiny bit more recoil. MCW has a 714 rpm fire rate, I would think something around 750 rpm would be good, but with an extra 2% Horizontal Recoil, and an extra 3% Vertical Recoil. If the new gun had similar damage, there would actually be a variety that could be used, and more skillful players might use the one with more recoil (because they're skilled enough to control it). Anyways, probably won't happen, but cool to think about.

Yeah unfortunately the only option in Ranked is the MCW. All of the new guns get immediately banned which is annoying.

My favourite is MW3 from 2011, closely followed by BO3. My least favourite is Infinite Warfare. I played more Black Ops 3 than Infinite Warfare between the end of 2016 (when IW released), and the end of 2017 (when WWII released).

@@kranjos similar for me, the original mw trilogy is pretty special to me. The first cod I played was cod 4 (2007) so that is probably my favourite. The simplicity of it plus the great maps. Mw3 2011 I think I played more than any other hahah. My least favourite is either Cold War or bo4 I think.

Ah yeah the original MW trilogy was awesome. I started playing CoD on MW2, and liked it so much I even ended up going back and playing some CoD 4. Great times for sure 🙂

A lot of it is figuring out timing (how long it takes an enemy to reach a certain position on the map from spawn, compared to you). Grenades tie into that because if you know where the enemy is going to be and when, you can throw a grenade at that spot. Other than that, it's just understanding where your teammates are, so that you know where enemies can come from, and where they can't. The rest is just generally improving at the game, having better accuracy, looking at your mini-map, and checking common windows/areas before running out into the open. Also, use Dead Silence.

Haha yeah sometimes you just get bad teammates, or even bad timing. It happens. Just play SnD a bit on the new game when it cones out, and you'll figure it out a bit, and be more consistent. Also you'll figure out which maps you like and dislike (I really don't like Highrise SnD based on the Beta).

Yeah I play Ranked Play in Multiplayer, but I get to Crimson each season, and then just verse either 4-man teams (while I mostly play Solo), or cheaters. Makes it not really worth playing. So instead of just not playing once I reach Crimson, I decided to create a new account to play Ranked. But you have to reach like rank 45 in Multiplayer before you can play Ranked, so this is a game I had while levelling up. 😊

@@kranjosnice!! I mainly play pubs. I’ll play ranked for like a weekend and then get bored lol I have another account as well and wanted to see if I could get some cheap nukes. 3 games in and I was matched up against the same players as my main account I just gave up lol

Everyone has their preferences! I like maps that have a mix of close quarters and running head on into enemies, but also has some flanking routes so that not every fight is just head on. This map tends to be just running until you get into a fight, not much room for flanking. This is easily my best game on the map by far.

You're not the first person to question me using the Lachmann Sub in Ranked. Not many people have actually tried it over the Vaznev. The Lachmann Sub is a super reliable, good mobility, low recoil, fast TTK weapon. You can argue all day that the Vaznev is better (and you're probably right), but I feel comfortable with the Lachmann Sub. Not to mention the fact that I've made it to Crimson 1 in 3 straight seasons while only playing solo, and using either the Lachmann Sub or TAQ-56. The weapon can't be that bad 😅

Yeah that's definitely a possibility, but I don't normally use 2 shot kill semi automatic weapons with 30 round magazines, so I'm used to reloading quickly after getting a kill so I don't run out of ammo. I tend to only reload when I think it's safe to do so though, so most of the time (like in this gameplay), it doesn't get me killed. Plus, footsteps are so loud in this game that 99% of the time, you can hear if there are enemies close, and therefore make sure to not reload.

I don't think it happens much anymore, but 2-3 months ago it was happening to way too many people. Most of the players were legit as well. Such a shame.

Na, unfortunately they removed Fortune's Keep shortly before Warzone 2 released. Although they're adding a new Resurgence map to Warzone 2 in a couple of weeks time.
