A girl breaking up with you is not the worst thing in life. Girls come and go, it’s part of life. Imagine if nature was such that you were permanently stuck with the same girl forever. How horrible would THAT be. There is no such thing as the ‘right’ girl. Everyone is constantly evolving so you meet a person who is right for you for that period of time in your life. What’s MUCH MORE IMPORTANT is your career, YOU, and YOUR OWN LIFE. Because if you don’t get that together then you can’t take care of someone else. I get that the kid in the video is really young, but he too will go through a few more breakups and realize that they come and go and it doesn’t really matter.

UPDATE 2024-08-30: DJI emailed me stating that they will cover the repair cost and have it sent back to me in about 3-6 days. 👍 UPDATE 2024-08-16: I was on set and the receiver failed to power on. The fact that the DJI Mic 2 transmitters can record internally saved my bacon! My takeaway is that the 70-200mm will hold against a portrait prime lens. Therefore, I'd be happy with the versatility of the zoom, as you stated, and be happy making great photos with this lens. The math doesn't add up. 1/8000 s = 0.000125 s | Bullet travel distance in the shot = ~12" | For that to be real, the velocity must have been near 8000 feet per second. Something doesn't add up.

Is is political to say no bullet could have been photographed based on the evidence? Or is it photography even if no bullet was photographed? If you are talking about an impossible photo are we all supposed to pretend it really is a photo of a bullet and if we don't that's political? I thought that was SCIENCE?
@MilmidStudios
@MilmidStudios Ай бұрын
@@rolotomasi5935 hello! Definitely a very hard shot to nail given the circumstances, but absolutely possible to photograph a bullet with our modern camera tech. I conducted an experiment and I was also able to capture a bullet mid flight at 30 frames per second and at 195 frames per second. The video can be found on my channel.
@rolotomasi5935
@rolotomasi5935 Ай бұрын
@@MilmidStudios This is irrelevant given my other comment to you about the speed of sound and the abc witness cam video. Correlate the two and you have a major physics problem. Doug was also shooting burst at 20 frames per second. What would the frames before and after show in his photo? Nothing right? - if it was a bullet or anything traveling at 900m/s. So this and the length of the streak and the time it happens in relation to the bang, taking the speed of sound as a constant (343m/s), is impossible. It's not about camera settings and the ability to see the "bullet" in this analysis. Other analysis may require photographic analysis. But if we are going to do that, let's have the RAW photo from the camera. Not likely? Why not? When transparency goes it all goes and all power leaves you with, quite deliberately is theory and conspiracy. And we know how that game works. If this channel is about photography and not politics people would be honest about these facts. That photo is in all likelihood not real or requires serious inquiry. In stead were not gonna get political and there fore ignore the real underlying science and follow politicians and the medias fact checking.... again. Well I am one of those people who won't let blatant fallacies go by - even if everyone wants me to shut up. Prove it's a bullet (or even shrapnel). Until the raw is released in my analysis it's not evidence.

@@rolotomasi5935 my friend, you are free to believe anything you want. I appreciate your perspective. Your conclusion is based on the information you have drawn from what has been made available to you, but it is also based on a level of speculation, and the assumption that all of your speculation is accurate- accounting for every single variable…. I assure you this channel is about photography, just because we see the issue differently doesn’t make my take political. I’m not sure what side you think I’m on based on my opinion about the photograph, but I am interested.
@rolotomasi5935

@@MilmidStudiosTo be clear I am not on a side. If someone shows a picture of something impossible, and that's not my perspective or speculation, it's analysis of the evidence which makes the claim impossible should I simply accept the claim? Especially on an assassination attempt? Zapruda anyone? Photographic evidence is a major part of history. It needs scrutiny. Does the photo and the sound occur at the same moment in time, in the same frame or not? Please answer this. If it does that is not speculation or ignoring variables. Have you even looked at it? I am about the photography and the technical also. I am somewhat of an expert. but that shouldn't matter. If you won't look at this part what are you about? This clip will make it easier. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJCsc3eLYqubha8 Happy to proven wrong. But to call what I am saying speculation when you won't even look is a bit low. Take a look and tell me what I am saying is false. That's science.

@@MilmidStudios No - anything is not possible. Physics. an AR-15 round won't travel slower than sound which it would have to do for Doug Mills to photograph it when he did, or anything traveling fast enough to make a 12 inch streak at 1/8000 shutter. You are a photographer. Watch the video and you'll see the frame where the photo occurs is the exact frame where the the in sync microphone records the first bullet sound. Am I wrong about that?
