I’m a beginner & I just got a brand new MPC One gold from Guitar Center for $629 with free shipping & I had wanted to know do I specifically have to use the MPC Beats Software to load in the additional MPC Expansions packs? I ask because I already have Ableton Live Lite in my MacBook Pro & I also have a Brand new 1994 Roland JV-1080 & i had brought 4 Expansion Boards for it. and what all the VST plugins like Spitfire Labs& Dexed FM I maybe only buy 1-2 expansion packs which will probably be Neo Soul Quest & the Neo SunSet

You can use any software to to load your MPC expansion .For the MPC software you can use any third-party VST’s with no problem
