I just discovered your channel. We plan on moving to Southern Oregon and we visit every summer until we can make the move. Thanks for sharing your adventures! Definitely adding some of these places to our to do list

9 months a year isn't "all the time", but it's pretty close if you live in Portland and the Willamette Valley. Winters are too long, summers too short.

Is Raiya your co host? I had to look this up, but now I see it's north of Cave Junction, which of course is near the Oregon Caves park! Beautiful area, I did enjoy the video, thanks!

Next visit, come on a Saturday and explore the Saturday Market. Two park blocks on 8th and Oak downtown. Everything there is handcrafted, from the jewelry, pottery and textiles to the food and the music. There is a wonderful organic Farmers Market, but avoid the Free Speech Market adjacent to them- a drug haven.

Congrats to Blaine!! I’ve never heard of Clear Lake there in Oregon but it looked lovely and not very crowded which is a plus! You really picked a nice town to settle in. We did the jet boats last summer in Portland and my kids loved it! I was a bit terrified though. I’ve seen the ads for the Hellgate ones and would love to do those too! As I see Raya growing up reminds me how time flies with our kids, and it’s so good to make these memories before they are grown and won’t have time to do these things with us! ❤

You should do a short just of that spider footage, it could go viral among fans of spiders. There is probably a lot of people that would really like that content.

How long did all these trails take you?
@OregonFamilyAdventuresАй бұрын
Good question. It's been a while since I made this video, though, so I don't remember how long the trails took. 🙈 Most of them are short, but the hike to Drake Falls and Lower North Falls took the longest.

How long did it take to drive from Roseburg to Crater Lake along this highway including stops at each of these waterfalls?
@OregonFamilyAdventuresАй бұрын
I made this video a while ago, so I don't remember how long it took. But I must note that the last time I was in this area, a huge chunk of the Umpqua Forest had burned up in a wildfire. What I could see from the road looked...devastating. I'm not sure what the trails are like anymore, especially the ones closest to Roseburg. 😞

How expensive is it

I don't remember what the prices were when we went, but I do remember that it wasn't cheap. 😬 You might be able to find their rates on their website.

Love that shot of Mount Shasta! So long since I've seen it. Ryah (sp?) is a ray of sunshine! Happy no matter what. We can all learn from that. :) Sweet old German shepherd. I have a young one now but I know how their joints bother them as they get older. Nice that she could accompany her family. 😊
@OregonFamilyAdventures3 ай бұрын
Colleen! Such a pleasant surprise to see you here. 😄 Yeah, Keira’s poor joints have seen better days. We try to keep her active, but she’d rather just lay around in her senior years. Thanks for watching the video. I told Raya that you said she’s a ray of sunshine and it made her smile. 😊

Thanks for posting the video, it was nice to see. That sucks about six flags. Hopefully they install some shades and stop over-charging for Dippin' Dots xD It's been fun watching your family videos over the years! Keep it up :)
@OregonFamilyAdventures3 ай бұрын
Haha. Your Dippin’ Dots reference made me laugh. They’ll most likely increase the price over time rather than drop it, and the raise probably won’t go toward installing shade, huh? 😂 I appreciate you following along with my videos. 🥹

Hi, everyone! 👋 This is from last summer. We were mostly waiting in lines the whole trip and I wasn't happy with the video, so I never shared it. But I was rewatching our old vlogs today and thought, why not? haha I'd love to know what you've been up to! Any plans this spring or summer?
@kristinesharp62863 ай бұрын
You know some trips that is how it goes. Our Illinois 6 flags is not open most the year. Weather. If it was super hot I wonder if they close certain rides in case anyone gets stuck it won’t be horrible before rescue? Or things just break down, Disneyland a few rides always breaking down. Could be staff? But it costs too much to enter these parks for this to be the experience. Not to mention to time and trouble and cost to get there.

I was just about to point out how your son had the hoodie he bought in San Fransisco in a trip video posted 2 months prior. Makes sense now.
