I have been looking for a video or blog like this for years. Some people call it the groundhog day diet. I have been trying to refine my approach to it for several years. I have settled on oatmeal with a banana and cinnamon for breakfast with black coffee, for lunch, a sweet potato and black bean burrito on a whole wheat tortilla with an apple, and for dinner, that's where I have some variety. If I have to snack in between it's fruit, nuts, avocado, home popped popcorn.

As mentioned those simple apps are also fifth generation mainstream apps. ---- Nice, after a few Ali Abdaal the youtube algorithm thought I might watch a 0.00001 channel too

Where do you buy your meat at, especially the bison?
@ericherdman1243 ай бұрын
Sirloin steak and bison I buy at Costco, and I use "Just Meats" for my brisket, shredded beef, and ground beef.

Are you related to Barbara Herdman? She was a nurse co-worker of mine in Western Penna back in the 70s and 80s.

Nearly useless. Don't start this thinking he's going to tell you what eats. He doesn't.

Thanks for the comment! I received so many requests for my diet, I have created a new video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKCUm6FvrpypgNU which details what I eat on a daily basis. If you are looking for more information on my minimalist diet, check that out, and if there are any other questions or videos you would like to see, let me know.

How to not get bored of the same food ev😢

A minimalist diet does not work for everyone, but it works for me. I have tried meal lifestyles over the years, including vegetarian, vegan, paleo, intermittent fasting, etc., and this is the one that gives me the most benefits...more energy, less fatigue, no bloating, just to name a few. I am not a dietician or a health care professional, so I always recommend before making a diet change people consult their own doctor or nutritionist to see what changes are right for them.

my dream is to eat the same thing every day, but i'm worried about nutrients and macros, so i need to carefully look into what my diet would consist of.
@ericherdman1243 ай бұрын
That is a very important point! In the first video I did not post specific foods and quantities that I eat, because it is different for everyone. But I received so many requests for more details I posted another video with more information, located here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKCUm6FvrpypgNU. I would advise you speak with your nutritionist or other health care professional first, and pick the foods that give you the nutrients you need.

I eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch. I only vary my dinners but I rotate through three choices, so I guess I eat the same thing twice per week. I love my diet and I save a fortune.

That's a great way to practice the minimalist diet while eliminating some of the boredom.

@@gloriathompson423 Well, I actually eat out of order because I don't eat until 9.00am. So, first meal (technically lunch) is home made lentil soup topped with a boiled egg plus high protein bread with Avocado..I make up a batch of the soup to last the whole week. I use an old family recipe that is a rustic village recipe from Spain that my mother taught me that her mother taught her etc..I finish off eating at 7.00pm (which is technically breakfast) with weetbix, banana and a blend of nuts and seeds. I don't drink liquids with my meals. I eat 3 meals a day spaced 5 hours apart, where I drink water 2 hours after eating and less than 1 hour before. I said in my original comment that I rotate through 3 dinner options. Well I recently dropped that down to 2. Eaten at 2.00pm either a vegan Buddha bowl or baked salmon and sweet potato with steamed broccoli and a handful of nuts for desert. The Buddha bowl I cook once and prep 4 serves out of it. So meaning for dinner I only cook 3 times per week (Buddha bowl = 4 dinners, salmon = 2 dinners. Dinner number 7 I just eat a serve of lentil soup cause I'm too lazy to cook just one single meal!)
