Any accomplishment by Brahmins can be attributed to their discipline and upbringing/environment. With the decimation of Agraharam some of these have fallen apart. Pursuit of knowledge is etched in a Brahmin's DNA - whether it be Kashmiri Pandit or Iyer. Knowledge may be rewarded but that a downstream effect. No ones stopping anyone from gaining knowledge - go read the books. I did notice foul language below and have reported these feral dogs to KZbin. While they nip at others, they have no respect for themselves and others. Throw them a bone and they will chew on it for the rest of their lives.

We successfully transitioned from philosophy to science to technology with significant contributions. But, we lost a lot along the way including living as a community. Always pondering ways to resurrect Agraharam/Temples and the lost culture. It will demand significant investment of time and money. Lets see. Thanks again.

I'm also proud about Brahmins...our ancestors are also hails from Tamil Nadu ( I think and heard somewhere in Tanjore/Ainavaram) and my Paatta also Vadhyar and Thaatha Palakkad Sanskrit scholar and Sastrigal...but I couldn't follow them ...but follows Brahmins traditions... settled in Kerala about 150 years.
