I don't understand why do you read q as a?

Hello, this is the Egyptian pronounceation.. mostly we pronounce qaf as hamza

@@omarhandmade thank you for reply, I didn't know that but why do you need to do that? What do you use instead of qaf also why do you need to use two hamza or is there any difference between them?
@omarhandmade
@omarhandmade Күн бұрын
@cokdillihayat-multilinguallife the reason is simply people found hamza easier than qaf. I understand that you may not agree if you learned only the qaf probounceation as in Quraan. But in fact in most arabic dialects ق is not pronounced as in Quran, for example in gulf it is pronounced as g in game .

The explanations are excellent. The content is great. Could you please consider making a video on how to use masculine and feminine plural, dual and broken adjectives? It would be very useful as continuation of this. الف شكر

Hello everyone! I'm glad to hear that this video has helped you improve your Arabic. I would love to get your feedback to make my future videos even better. 1. What do you think about the format of this video? Do you prefer that I say only the Arabic text to keep the video shorter, or would you like me to include the English translation as well? 2. How do you feel about the water sound in the background at the beginning of the video? Do you like it, or would you prefer silence or perhaps some background music? 3. What do you think about using AI-generated images in the videos? Do you think it's a good idea? How do you think they should be used-should I go for high-quality images or simple illustrations? 4. What do you think about the length and speed of the videos? Are they too fast or too slow? Do you think the videos should be longer or shorter? Your feedback is really important to me, so please let me know your thoughts in the comments. Thank you! ---

Tell you the truth, the video is excellent. AI generated images are great. The sound of water in the background does not bother. Length of the video is perfect. Shorter would be less material. Including English translation, Franco Arabic, and Arabic letters is ideal. If you take out one of the three, something would be missing. As for me, and in general terms, the video shows you are a creative and dedicated professor. Only thing I would change, in my opinion is the font of the Arabic letters because the Arabic font used in the video is a little complex for English speakers. I can read the words in Arabic because I have been studying Egyptian Arabic for a while but honestly this kind of font letter is a little complex. I would recommend if possible Arial font or Times New Roman for Arabic font letters. Other than that, everything is OK. Hope your channel keeps on growing Inshallah. أالف شكر

@@spanishwithmr.morffi4021 Thank you for your valuable comments; I will certainly consider them for future videos. If I may, I have a couple of questions: 1. For the background sound, do you prefer water sounds, light music, or no sound at all? 2. Is it better to divide the screen as I did in previous lessons with text on a plain background, or do you prefer this format? 3. Should I also include English audio to make it easier to follow along if someone is listening without watching? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

@@omarhandmade Ahlan Ya Omar. This is my personal opinion about these questions. 1. I think light music would be better, specially if you play Egyptian or Arabic music. 2. I don’t consider necessary to divide the screen as you did in previous lessons. This format is perfect. 3. I don’t think it is necessary to include English audios because students should focus on listening to Arabic which is the target language or the language they are learning. Some other people could probably have different opinions, but these are the rules that I would follow in my case. Remember that this is the perspective of a student. You could create your videos as you think the best way possible. Good luck in your future videos. Hope your channel continues to grow Inshallah.

Hi Lucie, Because the word jeeba is from the French word Jupe. The standard arabic word is (tanoora تنورة).. there are some words from French and Italian in Egyptian like tarabeeza (table), bantaloon (trousers)

The video is GREAT as well as the introduction of masculine and feminine ways to form the names of colors because adjectives have gender in Egyptian Dialect. As far as I understand, Masry utilize feminine adjectives when it comes to non human plural nouns. Could you please consider making any other extra video to explain the way Egyptians make plural adjectives when it comes to human and non human nouns? Other than that, the content is Amazing. In my opinion, you are ranking as one of the best Colloquial Egyptian teachers in KZbin. ابف شكر
