I went up Snubburnar (the main peak) and Mýlingur yesterday - in great weather. I'm an experienced hiker, and it was hard work, but fine. I'd consider it to be a dangerous hike in the misty weather of Allan's first time up Mýlingur: there are sudden sheer drops (of hundreds of metres) and the steep grass would be slippery. Without the reward of the views, I'd not recommend anyone try.

What an amazing and informative video. I was wondering if you could help me decide on how many days I should spend in each area (N,E, S, W) to see everything in your video. I don't know if it's necessary to rent a hotel room in each area. We will be renting a car and will be there this July for 11 days. TIA
