I bet the cylinder walls were about that thick even before cutting it.
@RonDelby5 күн бұрын
You could weld a larger ring at opening to make it thicker, and it would have sounded more like a real bell and not have the creepy sound.,

I was looking for an easy way of making a single clapper to get a low tone resonance. I am picking up an empty cylinder today. Looks like ai am of the same opinion as most, I was sad to see you didn’t try tweaking the project.

You could have rusted those up...made a stand and sell them at the local farmers market as ART! Santa Fe art chimes go for big money!

Once all the bugs were worked out of it, it really was a true weapon, he's raced it against other GTRs and because of the weight reduction its faster! -I'm glad the brakes worked just as well :)

It could be a work smarter not harder, or just me being lazy issue, but I woulda moved the truck closer to the cylinders. I would have also maybe just muffled them when I didn't want to hear them. but you learned us how to make something that will most likely drive us nuts too. Thanks for the tip great job

This is my horn. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My horn is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my horn is useless. Without my horn, I am useless. I must honk my horn true. I must honk louder than my enemy who is trying to kill me. I must honk at him before he honks at me. I will ... Unless you’re on a donkey cart and you stay strapped AF.
