Awesome video! I saw a Brown Goshawk this morning, I always look in trees for Tawny's etc but noticed a BG low down. It then made a dart up the way to a female magpie.. she sounded an alarm and 2 male Maggies flew in from close range like torpedo's and chased the BG away. I don't think the BG caught anything. Literally couldn't believe it as it all unfolded. Amazing birds the BG but also the Magpie.

Did you guys know all birds of prey fly at a speed of up to 300 kph lower or faster.

Yes Lizzy can do a straight speed of around 100kph so as pigeons can do around 147kph falcons go up and do massive speeds in a dive to chatch them out ...thay say even the Golden Eagle can stoop at 300kph

As a guy with racing pigeons it pains me to say a peregrine is one of my favorite birds. I just don’t want to see them when my pigeons are out lol. Awesome video!

Lol I understand that.... so Xena is verry experienced now... she was deemed non releasable as she was quite young when she came into care and would of needed another year with her parents she was sent to me already on the zoo side so she can't be released ....every time you handle it is training and shapes there behaviour this day was a flight in the wind and purely for enrichment

The next option is in a zoo enclosure for the next 40y or a couple of flights a day in a zoo show with us she can spend as much time as she likes flying in a session
