Oh definitely, in the early days of their career, they were just jamming, Dino, Burton, And Raymond and Their bass player before Christian joined the band, the way burton describes it in an interview was that Dino played this riff and burton was really feeling the vibe of the riff, he then just started singing with this godflesh vocal style and Dino looked at burt crazy and stopped playing. He was like, "Bro what the fuck? That was sick! Do that! Do that again!" Thats how Fear Factory's natural style came into shape with the duality of heavy brutal vocals along with melodic choruses. But even when they started making Demanufacture burton amd dino said those songs are anthemic and powerful that when they were in the process of recording the songs in the studio, they were extremely powerful before the samples and Keyboards and vocals were added. Their demos are even heavy as fuck
