How do you review the sprayer now? How long have you had it for? Thanks
@grassfedlives4 күн бұрын
I’ve had it for 14month now and it is still running excellent. I don’t use it very often, now. I use this one around 5hrs a month. But the previous ones I used them about 40hrs a month, and would only last about 11- 12 months.

How long has the 18v lasted with constant use?
@grassfedlives2 ай бұрын
11 months, daily use. The hose is the first to give out (burst) and then the gun handle gets stuck and becomes incredibly difficult to work with. But it’s a great backpack sprayer.

I have planted a bunch of these but they are very small right now (15cm tall). I’ve heard they are very slow growers. How much growth should I expect on them every year? Thanks!
@jordansheehan70093 ай бұрын
I’ve heard these grow very slowly. How much growth are you seeing per year? Thanks!
@grassfedlives2 ай бұрын
Awesome! Thank you for asking.. not much noticeable growth at this point, just flowering once a year. I would say about 4 inches a year. And once you train it (by pruning) at the height you’ll like it, it’ll remain the same shape for the 12-18 months.

So what’s the difference? Is 40v stronger more heavy duty?
@grassfedlives3 ай бұрын
Great question!.. No, the 40v is NOT stronger than the 18v. I believe it’s just what voltage system you lean towards more. I would just stick with the 18v if I were just adding another tool to the shed. I tried out both for you already and the 40v is just ok if you have other 40v Ryobi equipment.

@@stevewilke8524 holy smacks, just briefly searched cogged belts?..lol Note to self: “The choice between cogged and smooth V-belts depends on specific application requirements. While smooth belts offer versatility and cost-effectiveness for general applications, cogged belts excel in high-speed, high-torque, and heavy-load situations, providing improved efficiency and traction.” Freakn great 👍

I think that’s the drive belt…🤔
@grassfedlives3 ай бұрын
Yes- I believe so. Both are located in that area. The deck belt is on the lower part of the clutch assembly and the drive belt is super high up close to the frame. It was funny trying to replace the drive belt ..

@grassfedlives3 ай бұрын
Great observation. It is a bit of a tripping hazard lol, I should cut it to be flush with the foot plate. Thank you btw!! It has been working incredibly well- I do not feel the vibrations when the mower is at full throttle, which was a nuisance trade for power output haha ✌️

Can you do another video, I can’t tell by the orientation of your mower what direction I should be going in.
@grassfedlives3 ай бұрын
Awesome! I’ll do by best to make one. Lift the rear of the mower by going up car ramps ( or mower lift ) so you can access the clutch area where you’ll be able to reach and remove, both, deck belt and The Drive Belt.

Your video was a life saver ! I had purchased the same wrong belt as well, and your video saved me a lot of time as I just gave it a quick try to confirm (as the length of the two versions are indicated as the same). I've ordered the GX26422. Also- when you are removing your foot deck the titles indicate (2) 13mm wrenches. You need only one to remove the foot deck, and the lock bar for the height adjuster has a 13mm built in (looks like you used that too). We need (2) 15mm wrenches to remove the pulley (as you indicated verbally in the video). Just in case anyone was confused (I headed out to the mower with 2 x13mm 's !)

No. Same wand but not the same nozzles. The nozzle attachments for the 40v are constructed a bit better. But the 18v isn’t necessarily cheaper, just simple. So yes. Not a purchase factor for me tho!

I noticed your mower has the rear bumper. That was an option I bought for my Z235 mower. One thing I can suggest that makes this job a breeze is to drain the oil, remove the battery, and then stand the mower on the rear bumper. Everything is much easier to see and reach! Just remember to remove the rear hitch first if you have one.
