Igl this was hard I’m just curious how you knew the key of the sample after all that pitch shifting you did to it

Once I knew what the original key of the sample was, every time I moved it up or down, I changed the key by however much I moved it. For example if the original key was in D#minor and i move it up 2 half steps I end up at Fmin. Basically just counting up the piano keys

I change the sample mode to stretch and keep moving the pitch knob in increments of 100 cents to get the closest key to the sped up sample. Then I know it’s exactly on a key and not in between two
