Don't give up on seeing Wolverine fighting the Hulk so soon. Shawn Levy (director of Deadpool & Wolverine) said that one of the antagonists of the film "will be a familiar face to the audience). Since Deadpool & Wolverine will be a multiverse film that will eventually go to the Void at some point and there could be a Hulk variant that isn't passive with the Professor Hulk persona. So, this Hulk variant could still be savage making a Hulk vs Wolverine and Deadpool fight make sense.

Wolverine and Hulk are as far as I am concerned among the greatest Marvel characters of all time. Their story arc and character defining moments are among the best of all time. Of course, their rivalry is also awesome as well.
