Only £ 2440 quid current prices via the ailrine and a lot of websites have the price in April ( when i travel back from Bangkok where i live ) is around £3405 quid or 14330 Thai Baht for business class.. You had a good deal for business class. Ive previous taken 3 return flights on Eva Air PE flights in the last 3 years.

@jimshelley8831 i went on the cheapest possible days, and even stayed out there a day longer than planned as the flight was cheaper. O got the fare thru Skyscanners App and, although it was cheaper, I didn't get as many mileage miles as if I had gone direct thru EVA.

@@flyboydavey Thanks for that information , I don't have very many mileage points, all my recent long haul been on Eva Air PE This will be my first Business Class flight and my days cannot be too flexible as I have to be back in London for a CT scan on 2 Nd of April. .

Hi Davey. I have to agree that Eva Air are top notch! I tend to use the Lufthansa lounge at Heathrow as the bar is self service also the Eva Air dedicated lounge at Savarnabhumi airport, no bar staff which is a BIG BONUS for me! Please note..., you can use the Lufthansa lounge if you are travelling economy but costs £59 which is well worth it! United lounge by the gate at Heathrow also good! And the attentive service on board is excellent! As a footnote, Thai Airways on board is very old fashioned, good service but ticket price more expensive even when you book in advance! BUT, the Thai Airways business class lounge at Bangkok airport is HUGE, and food very good but not excellent! Avoid the Singapore lounge at Heathrow, the food is crap and very busy! Cheers mate! 👍👍🇬🇧

@jonfoulkes3160 amtrak have an easy to use website and a huge network across the States. BA and Virgin fly to most of the major cities.

Food was very American based so a bit basic but still.good. The scenery was worth the fare all by itself.

@groovydonkey I'm just glad that he's still doing gigs. He's over 60 now and he looks like he was loving every minute. His voice has started to go lower, definitely.

@@flyboydavey It is lower, but sounds a lot more rough and course now. Alot of the singers and groups are still going and sound good. I do understand that he is 63 now, but the early stuff they recorded, does not seem to suit his voice or vocal range now. Culture Club are doing a few shows in the UK, but I have decided not to get tickets for it.

They’re great up front but that shouldn’t qualify them as five star . In the back they ripped out what was a great nine abreast configuration in their 777’s and put in ten abreast with a 17” wide seat and 31” pitch. Same as guess who? AA and UA. Two mediocre carriers . JAL and SG are probably the only true overall five star carriers .

Looking on EVA website there seems to be some 3 levels of business class ? Any idea what the difference is ?

Economy, Premium Economy and business. Premium economy a smaller cabin (64 seats) between the two. Bigger seats, more recline, amenity kits with slippers, dedicated toilets, more luggage allowance and better food.

There is only one level of business class although there are different fare levels giving options on loyalty mileage , cancellation fees etc.

I flew the same route in business i few weeks ago, and I don't like salmon, so it wasn't ideal! Apart from that, I still prefer the new BA suites, but do like the hospitality of the Far eastern airlines.

I flew solo Qatar Qsuites return from Melbourne Australia to LAX last year, and all 4 legs of my flights were fantastic. The food was fantastic and I couldn't fault anything. The afternoon tea was my favorite and I had it a few times on my flights. I even ended up with 4 amenity kits which I gave to family members. I'm hoping to do the same next year.

Excellent video, I thought the girl that was looking after us deserved a 9/10 , pretty much faultless. I didn’t eat the scallop or the salmon, had the chicken for main & that was delicious. Nice to meet you.
