I think for the rest of my life I will only use treatment from dr Ogbebor herbal centre on KZbin as a method of treating my self because his medicine terminated the high pitch hissing sounds in both sides of my ears….

I hope it succeeds. There some ringing in my ears. I blame my family for forcing me to rely of headphones and being too cheap have allowed us to get noise canceling headphones that could’ve saved my perfect hearing. There are some parts of your body that you always to tediously care, lest they don’t recover cause they are parts that don’t heal, such as tooth enamel wear, vision problems from looking too much at screens(I’m trying to get blue light glasses, I don’t want to expose my eyes to the fate of my ears), hearing loss or ringing/titinus if you expose your ears to loud sources, and likely even brain cell damage though that one seems more avoidable than the others. Our bodies have given us everyday use body parts that are irreplaceable and irreparable(huge evolutionary downside). Sometimes I just find life is scary. They are caused by simple stuff that we don’t generally consider dangerous, but they make taking a knife cut on flesh to recover from seem much more bearable..

I completely feel you. Even i am afraid I have mild hearing loss because i used to listen to loud music. I hope they make technology that will recover the mildest of the hearing loss

Ex British Soldier here with unilateral high frequency NIHL , I appreciate this field untold and hope stem or gene therapy is the key to restore my hearing loss on day I’m 31 a decade from now I hope a cure is with us all. One day scientists will hopefully give me my life back 🕊🇬🇧🇺🇸

There is hope mate! Same age as you, having tinnitus. I read today that Harvard stem cell institute made some rats regenerate parts of their damaged hair cells! Imagine if humanity shifted the resources the same way as developing COVID vaccines to speed up the researches how to regrow human hair cells, then we may see a cure even faster. However in my opinion it may take longer than a decade until we have one around. I hope we all cope as best as we can until the dear scientists will be able to help us.

@@Bass7a How many medical scientists can you name? How many pro athletes can you name? It is not your fault but the system that seems to idolize achievement in a very narrow field of human activities. Wouldn't it be cool if kids could name recent scientific advancements like they can batting average?
