Azure Rathalos helm Tobi kadachi mail Zinogre vambraces Tobi kadachi coil Jyuratodus greaves The current meta is focus 5 and thunder 4. Focus 5 is very powerful. You got it. Tap and hold to charge your shot and snipe the weak point - usually the head. There are 4 levels of charges. Click on your bow to see what the shots are. Rapid is focused on one point and effective to mid distance away. Spread shots fan out and is effect at close range. Pierce is your armor piercing round that goes thru the monsta, effect from middle to long range. G'luck

I saw a LS guy with 90% affinity on a G10.5 Jinouga LS beating it. But I don't know how many tries he had. It was a perfect run from the AI perspective. Kushala didn't fly a lot in phase 2 and stayed on the ground mostly, which doesn't happen much. Also that 90% affinity is insane. His effective total attack plus element was over 4000

Thanks for watching! That timing is tricky depending on how far I am from Kushala. If close, I have to dodge early because it hits you on the rise. If I am middle distance or far, I have to delay the dodge because as you said, it jumps high and hits on the way down.

If You have the Zinogre plates, I'd still do it. Deviljho and Kushala make the best dragon and ice bows respectively in the current meta and both are weak to thunder. You can solo a 6 start kushala pretty easily with a G10.5 zimogre bow. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching

You know how it goes...

In my experience yes, focus 5 is 30 % charge faster while focus 4 is 20%. That 10% difference is huge for this fight. See where I can fire off another full charge after the paw slams and while Jinouga swirls it's head. It only works with focus 5. I lose 150 ice per shot but it doesn't even come close to the extra fully charged shot

I wonder if turning the phone sideways might help. I just might try that and report back to ya

You started in March and already beat a 5 ⭐ Zinogre!! Nice work! I think at Grade 7 or lower, you are better off maxing ice attack to level 5. But Barioth is gone... So I would go with azure Rathalos head G6 for focus 2, Rathalos body G6 for 25% affinity, black diablos G6 for focus 1, Legiana coil for ice 2 and Jyuratodus legs for focus 2 for your setup at the moment. You'll have focus 5, WE 2, ice 2. Do try to kill a lot of Zinogre this week and it's arm guards which is important for your thunder setup. Thanks for watching and for your compliments! Good luck!

I don't have enough components for the Rathalos Azure Helmet and Black Diablos Gloves at the moment, but that's the goal yes. For the moment I have the legiana helmet and rathian gloves. Burst is easy to do with the legiana bow's piercing shots. But I thank you for your valuable advice and encouragement! I can't wait to see your next video ^^

I would prefer focus 5. That 30% faster charge will make your shot cycle noticeably easier. You can see at several points in this fight I was able to fire an extra round before jinouga made the next move. With focus 4, it will be tough. The extra 150 ice attack doesn't make up for it. With that said, I think with a G9.5 Legiana bow, you can clear this with either setup. Good luck and thanks for watching!

Yeah, it's always the head for me then chest/body/forelegs part next..

I find aiming for Jho's head awkward with ranged weapons. It feels like his head out of frame most of the time. Using longsword is just easier with Lock On.

@@Xerokou You'll need to practice more to figure out the openings when you can aim for its head. You don't actively try to aim for it without the right openings since you'll lose time. If there's anything, aiming for chest is harder for me.

Hmm, my leggie bow is grade 8.5. Barry is grade 7.1. Other than that, no real reason. You prefer the Barioth bow, all else being equal?

Yeas electric is the most fucked up element in this game. If you want thunder attack 5 you need capabilities to exterminate Zinogre 6⭐ which is basically most Single player like myself screwed ☠️☠️☠️

The second shot is called a power shot officially. It does half the damage of the first. If you hold and release, you'll make the first shot. Then, if you tap quickly within a second or so, you'll make the second shot to follow up. Good luck!
