Man clark is one of my favorites hes so technical and always trying to make big subs happen.. i dont know how he lost this he was constantly attacking and knocking andre off balance where andre was defending the sweep attempts most the time and trying to pass but only getting close once. Good match and huge for clark regardless

world class match in my book. Close one to call, Mr. Clark Gracie is definitely more aggressive compared to most who play guard (especially against Mr. Galvao). However have to give it to Andre. Clark's attacks were from Andre's tempo on how he was trying to pass the guard each time. But I could be biased I prefer being on top then bottom.

Clark should of won that match more active and wasgoing for the submission, galvao was on the defensive trying to score points. I always favor the fighter who goes for the submission and not points

@kirene1014 waht are you talking about? the crowd was obviously for Clark, if not why would they all have booed? heres a quote from below: "but everyone present at the trial besides the ref thought clark won..." sound like crowd noise was a factor? maybe to those that agree with the crowd, but the judges felt differently.

i know exactly how that feels, thinking you got it in the bag, then boom ref gives the adv win to your opponent, even if it looks as if your the aggressor. sucks!!!

good guard play by clark , several adv points were awarded to both sides however from the looks of the fight i dnt think galvao shud have won. clark had more sweep and sub attempts , and galvao only put clark in danger of gettin passed once or twice. this is why at tournaments its submit ur opponent or lose.

it was atos home advantage alot of people lost that should not have because of that, my team mate lost cuz he was not awarded his sweep points

@mataleao71 Clark tried several submissions, almost swept Galvao several times, and completely shut down the ability to pass the guard. Why would you think Galvao won?
