that’s funny when you turn on the Auto generate captions in English, his German translations are all kind of scrambled non-nonsensical translation. There seems to be something wrong with the algorithm.. when he asks them both how many more episodes they’re going to make in colour? Then noncommittal? In fact they felt 23 already and they had 3 to go to finish the whole 5th series and that would be the last series that Diana would film the avengers.

Steed did carry a gun at times when convenient to the story. The main thing he didn't do was drive. His driving scenes were usually his stuntman or in studio back screenshots; when he did have to drive, he stayed in second gear. I don't think he even knew how to shift those old Bentleys. Dianna Rigg did seem to like driving fast and did wreck at least one of her Lotus Elans. She commented later that she had never seen so much fiberglass scattered everywhere after crashing one. Diana Rigg actually did the driving on that ice racing part of OHMSS. The stunt driving coordinator commented that she was a natural rally car driver. That huge 427 Cougar was probably the worst car possible to drive on ice. If one looks closely, Dianna Rigg puckers her lips when really concentrating, like during that race scene.

Patrick, once told me a story about when Lorne Greene and he used to act on stage in Toronto, I do not remember the name of the troupe, he told me this around 1988.... Every time they would get a 'pittance' of pay, back then, Lorne would try to cajole Patrick into giving some of Pat's $ to him, to invest in a fledgling company. Patrick would always, politely, decline. Patrick said, to me, that when Lorne went off to Hollywood, for that "silly Bonawnza thing"(trying to get his accent) that Lorne was doing 'quite well'! "You see, Allen, that fledgling company was/is...........................................I.B.M. ! Lovely man, was Patrick Macnee! 🪐🌠

Awesome! What a fun way to reimagine this episode, through the filter of the original Mission: Impossible opening credits. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a short, sweet, highly enjoyable tribute to both classic 1960's series!

The wrap around credits for this program are excellent! I love the simple, silhouette graphics of Steed & Tara from their season's closing credits, paired with the updated take on the classic theme music. Even though I can't actually understand the host (as I don't speak French, ha ha), I still enjoy watching this channels videos. Thanks for sharing!
