Try! The worst thing is them denying you. And if they deny you, it will Motivate you to work harder and that will create the perfect Avenue for you to get into an amazingly college. So you’ll win either way!

"For whatever reason" is not something that you should say in a tutorial when using a workflow. This of the layer mixer and the top to bottom as how you would stack your images in an animation - The top is the background and if you lay an animation cell with the cartoon character on top - it would be the next level. Typically a transparent piece of plastic with the cutout of the character lying on top. And you can track more than one power window. I would have done a power window on here face and two separate windows on her hands and track each of them - ( a garbage mask ) Also for people watching - the window and where you are sitting is really bad for color grading. For a talking head video it doesn't matter - but introducing daylight to your room, your grade will look different at different times of the day or night. So best if you can't work somewhere else is to black out that window.

Regarding your stack of images in animation comment, it took me years to finally understand 😂. I’ve been looking at it TOP DOWN, not straight on as if looking at a screen or animation. The top being the background makes sense in this case.

Great video! Thanks! Our son is fortunate to be at Exeter. He started last year as a Prep during an unusual COVID academic year and loves it so much that his kid sister wants to have the same opportunity. It's sad for us parents to let our children leave home so young but we are so happy to give them this amazing gift for life.

It's so out of my league lol The application fee is wayy too much when converted to my currency... Guys, can somebody tell me if the fee can be waived(application) ? If yes, how exactly?

Hi this is probably too late but just in case you’re still wondering, the application fee can be waived you just have to email the admission office asking for a fee waiver and explaining your situation.

I have a hard time fathoming that a child in middle school could even know of the existence and value of boarding schools. I didn’t even learn about them until I was midway through college. It really is shocking how people can live completely two different lifestyles and world views. I’d really like to study the difference in education, opportunity, achievement of the upper class and lower class from a sociocultural and socioeconomic perspective. I find it fascinating. Too bad I already received a business degree and do not think i am able to switch to psychology and sociology research so late. I guess that’s the effective difference between going to a school that pushes you to achieve and chase your dreams with risk and one that is just trying to get you to not become a homeless drug addict. It really does blow my mind. I cannot fathom being a young teenager with such an experience.

I appreciate your thoughts. Though I believe a degree is just a piece of paper. It’s been 3 years since I graduated and I haven’t been to college, yet I work full time job creating commercials and doing what I want to. I say all this to say that it isn’t too late for you achieve your goal or to further your self fulfillment, you’re still here. You still have time. 1% step everyday will grow leaps and bounds as you know as a business major.

Your proposal for research on such a topic is also something I’ve been interested in ever since leaving the boarding school bubble. If you make any headway, I’d love to hear about it. Exposure to such a school is important and that’s why I try to tell people any moment I get about the wonders of such an education.

I was bored and was watching an anime where the kids attending a boarding school. I thought it was cool and my mom always threatened to send me to one when I acted up. Joke was on her when I found out they were the best education you could get in the states.
