I’ve been a fan of K-Pop since 2016 and while my focus has been more on the artistry-the choreo, the vocals, and most especially the beautiful music production-but I’ve also succumbed to my lust like you mentioned. And on top of that I can’t help but feel pity for all the artists suffering abuse under their agencies. There are some groups I will always cherish in my heart as the music has inspired my own music production, and I’ve always felt endeared by the goofiness and kindness captured in some K-Pop artists in their vlogs and whatever. But I feel like in all my time being a fan, I’ve worked too hard to keep my attention on the light among the darkness of it all. Especially now that K-Pop is becoming increasingly sexualized when I initially fell in love with it for being more modest compared to Western music. So yeah Im at an impasse. I don’t know if I can continue enjoying K-Pop at arm’s length now that I’ve reconverted to Christianity-or if I need to just dispense with it entirely like I have with other genres I’ve fallen out of favour with.

Am i the only one who has a bad opinion about the whole "Proverbs 31 woman thing" i feel like proverbs 31 is used by a lot of women as a way to make other women feel bad about themselves. I just feel like it's become more of a "toxic internet trend" and that's definitely not how God intended proverbs 31 to be. It is a guideline for a godly woman more specifically a wife but a woman should not feel bad about herself if she can't be all of those things in proverbs 31. God is going to look at the heart more than our productivity at 5am. For example A woman doesn't need to get up at the crack of dawn to have a beautiful relationship with God. Her house doesn't need to be spotless to have a relationship with God. She still needs to be a trustworthy wife and take care of her family but it doesn't need to be at 5am. She can sleep until 8am and still be a godly woman

Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” What a lot of people try doing is doing everything on their own with no one’s help, they think they can do all things on their own, but sometimes, we just can’t and we let the desire of our bodies get the better of us. (Exercising and going on a fast for The Lord can really help discipline your body). We need to stop being so prideful thinking we can do this on our own and ask God for help when we need anything. Here’s a Prayer example, “God I need help to do this _____ please Help me God, in Jesus Name, Amen!!” May all of you have a Blessed Journey with The Lord Your God!! Praise The Lord Your God!! I try to be a proverbs 31 woman but my main problem is procrastinating sometimes and not having much to do but other than that I’m glad I’m sticking to my routine(waking up early, working out, bible and school studying) I was never able to do that until I gave my life to god 🍓

The whole reason i listen to kpop is because almost all pop artists are satan worshippers, and if im not mistaken, singers sell their soul FOR fame and money, kpop groups get their fame just because their songs get popular and k-tubers put it in their youtube shorts a lot, also they are under popular companies (the popular groups at least) and kpop itself isn't "demonic" it honestly depends on which songs you listen to, NOT the music genre itself, yes some kpop songs like oh my God, unforgiven etc are "demonic", and i see ALOTTT of the people saying they stopped learning korean because of kpop being "demonic" and i saw one comment asking if they can still do korean makeup because it looks good on them, to me this seems like its not kpop itself, but because it's in another language, and personally my comfort group is straykids, but i still worship God, i still pray before sleeping, avoid sin, say blessing before eating, ask for forgiveness whenever i accidentally sin etc, and by your logic that kpop is demonic just because of a few kpop songs (there is multiple evil kpop songs, i won't deny that) that every song besides gospel is demonic (which it's not) and i personally don't like a lot gospel songs (i have a few i like though) and straykids has a song called runners high and it has Christian lyrics, and theres a LOT of Christian kpop idols, I know that all of straykids are Christians besides Lee know who is non religious and we don't know about Seungmin, i saw somewhere that all the 7 members of enhypen are Christian, Rosè, Karina, etc, and about them being called "Kpop idols is demonic because it's idolatry" in kpop context, "Idol" means a performer, dancer singer etc, it has nothing to do with idolatry, (but I do agree that fans take their obsession too far to the point of treating kpop idols like gods) and there's NOTHING wrong with men wearing makeup, yes, God created only 2 genders, male and female, but if I'm not mistaken, makeup (also high heels) were originally worn by men a longggg time ago, but it just became a "feminine" thing over time, and why are you comparing the devil with kpop idols? Just because they look like anime characters doesn't mean they are the devil trying to lure you in with their beauty, do you expect idols to perform without getting their makeup done, putting on gorgeous outfits etc, and the "acting feminine" part for male idols is called fan service, it's also kind of ironic that whenever men dress even the slightest bit feminine, people criticize them and call them gay, but say absolutely NOTHING about tomboys, which is women dressing masculine, and you're also calling the groups demonic, they are under korean music labels and the company does their makeup, chooses their outfits, picks their personalities for each member before debut? (I saw people say that multiple times before, hoping it isn't true because if it is that's hella weird) and also picks their music video sets, I know a few groups have the members themselves write their songs, a very well known one is straykids, their production team in skz is 3Racha (Han, Chan and Changbin) and so far I haven't found a single song from them that "Worships the devil" most of their songs are uplifting and a lot are about self love, specifically youtiful (an absolute BEAUTIFUL song by the way, the lyrics are telling people to not think bad of themselves, "Don't you ever tell yourself that you're not enough I am certain you are truly fine" "Cause you are more than beautiful one of a kind" etc) anyways I'm not forcing you to listen to kpop again I just wanted to somewhat correct you because this video feels a bit manipulative.

I’ve been FIGHTING against quitting K-pop entirely, but that has to be attachment. Not to the people, but the music. But I don’t NEED the music. I’m deleting it all right now! I’m cool with my instrumentals, lofi, and a very minor percent of Japanese songs that I know the meaning of. I also got into Gregorian chants!

People are Struggling in this Day ? I know I’m a caregiver for my Disabled Brother he’s 65 and I am 63 retired ? It’s been a Challenge just Caregiving alone I have no help with him ? We Live in a Condo for 5 years renting ? Now that the Landlord has raised the rent for the last 3 years but it has made us struggle at the end of the month ? Any way through the years my landlord started to make me pay for repairs I had to pay ? It’s not right well just bc I took the sink stopper off of my bathroom sink and I didn’t realize the bottom part came undone ? Now he says that the floor was buckling probably from the sink I didn’t know was leaking but yet the landlord hasn’t fixed the air conditioner from last year ? Anyway now the landlord is saying he might not fix it and he might be selling the condo ? I hope he sells it I don’t know where to go for me and my brother ? I’m just Trusting in God to help us and I hope the landlord dint sue me to pay for the damages? It’s too Big for me ?? I’ve cried for 3 days not knowing what’s going to happen ?I don’t have any money to move or pay for deposit or 1 st months rent ? I just have to trust in God to help us with that and this situation with the lazy lanlord ? I’m sorry you’re going through this Sweetie!!! We have to Worship through this storm ??? After seeing a few videos my friend showed me i realized how it effects people differently but i think the physical side definitely disgusting. I didn't want watch anymore the visual temptation was too much ngl.

Im not personally into kpop. I always grew up only listening to Christian radio nothing else but my friend seems obsessed with it. If anyone can share advice please do! From what i know she's Christian but she doesn't seem to realize that her fan girling over them is not right. She loves them all and thats all she relates to. She wants to become a kpop singer. lol. What devil looks like kpop idols??! I think it is ok to say not to idolize anything and not to indulge anything lustful (and I agree 1000% with that)..... but saying they are visually supposed to look "demonic" is kind of CRAZY. The problem with kpop is that the industry is completely geared towards making you obsess over the groups and be completely consumed by them, which is NEVER a good thing.
