Utter genius. I'm 56 and loved them as a kid. Still do. The format was always the same and we looked forward to each segment knowing it was going to be brilliant. Opening news at the desk together. The party sketch. Big Ron lecture sketch. Village idiots/allotment guys sketch. Little Ron in the chair. Ongoing series drama sketch. Song and dance routine. Late items of news and it's good night from me and goodnight from him. The schedule was cast in stone but the material was always new brilliant and hilarious. Still the greatest double act in British comedy history. Because of Porridge & Open all hours as well Big Ron is my favourite but Little Ron was utterly brilliant as his wing man. I found Eric Morecambe really funny but Ernie Wise weak compared to Little Ron.

The words to this song are so catchy and really funny. I use buses a lot because I don't drive. I think of this song as I travel and it still makes me laugh. The 1st On the buses movie made more money at the cinema than the bond film Diamonds are forever so Hammer commissioned 2 more.

I just noticed that they used the same locations on this, as they did on the other film, but doing different things. Like for instance, the puddle Blakey gets splashed by. In the other film he gets splashed by the bus. In this one he realises he's going to get splashed by the bus, moves away, but gets splashed by the car instead.

The two scene where you see a glimpse of ladies knickers (the entire point of the humour) have been blanked here. It’s WOKE FEMINISM at its pathetic worst. Utterly humourless. What has happened to fun British humour? This series was all so fun and innocent and made people smile.
@alangould14659 ай бұрын
Pathetic isn't it🙄 These liberals are the most miserable,humourless morons I've ever known😱😫 Hard to believe the gorgeous blonde who went up the stairs(Linda Regan)has been married to Brian Murphy(George and Mildred)for nearly 30 years😲 She also appeared in the first episode of Minder,was in Hi De Hi and is a published novelist😯
