Hi there! Is this plugin available in PT 10 HD? My DAW is a 2008 Mac Pro with Digidesign Hardware and because of my Focusright Control 24 i cannot upgrade yet so im stuck on Mavericks. And info will be really helpful

Not available, instead of that you will need to use Reaper if you want it.

Scan VR i am using a digidesign hardware on OSX mavericks. PT HD 10 with a Core and Axel Card. My controller is a Focusright Control 24 I tried installing the plugin but is not supported by my OS. So basically i have to upgrade my OSX hence i am loosing compatibility of my controller because after OSX 10.9. Its not supported.

Ah - I see. I thought the issue was with your pro Tools. yes, it worked with PT10, but upgrading anything is a nightmare becasue there are so many things that have to talk. I've wasted 2 days straight reverting back. Sorry, this doesnt help, but yeah, its the OS...PT is fine

Scan VR i could try V-control app by Neyrinck on a patented Mojave installation and give you an update on how to upgrade an old system with newer OS. V-Control turn the old Focuright Control 24 ethernet controller into midi controller with customized mapping. Maybe you could give it a try as well.

Did you recognize that your video has a lag from 2:28 to 5:26 ? Always the same image.

Unfortunately, not helpful for me. It's sort of obvious what this plugin does, what I was hoping to learn is how to then work with the individual audio tracks. How do I assign each track to a space? apparently, I can't use Ableton Live for this because I need 9 busses and Abelton only has 2, so why do I need 9 busses and how do I work with them? Searching for these answers, the only results I am getting is this video of yours, which explains none of that. :( Guess I'll have to search harder...

Second one sounds much better as you can clearly hear the stereo effect of having it fly by you from left to right. I'd slow the doppler effect down a tad though as the aircraft isn't flying fast enough to create that strong a shift in pitch.

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Really helpful to start undersdanding the concept and techniques to achieve a VR audio. My question is the following. If nothing is recorded to a video. Lets say I have to do a foley, and ambience tracks. Its for an animation. How could you do it? I mean. Create a 4 channel audio? Try to replicate each channel as FL FR RL RR? Im confused to the point where I have to design the ALL sound of the video, as the video is a muted animation

thanks for the question mcgeraldes. I'm not entirely sure which question you're asking. Are you wondering how to add sound from scratch? Or how to export a 4 channel audio track. Let me know what the final medium is - FB360? KZbin? Vimeo? Thanks!

Thank you. Because usually people use pre recorded ambisonics material. And in my case I will have to do it from scratch. Anyway Do you have a video where you show creating the project from scratch?

Strangely enough, it's next on the list, but will still be a week at least. can you wait that long? In the mean time - the beauty of this is you can design sound the same way you would for stereo, and if you place it and automate it with the fb360 plugin, it will distribute the sound accordingly. I do all of it from scratch.

Nice. yes, a week would be enough. I am so new to this subject, ive done surround sound but for me this is very confusing as its different because I think there will no be automation at all right? panning automation I mean because, the panning would come straightly from the head movement or mouse movement while exploring the 360 scene

No, this is why FB360 Audio Workstation is so great. You automate the sounds but they follow movements as well. Say you have a bee flying around your head. you will automate the angle (all 360 degrees) so that if you keep your head still, the sound will fly around you. But if you move your head to watch the bee, the sound will be infront of you as you move. So it's automation that you create, and then there is the built in "following". Video will show
