Who are you to tell people when and how they die. Maybe they want assisted suicide sooner cause they are suffering real bad. Maybe they don't wanna waste away in hospice waiting to die, maybe do it for relief of a financial burden so their loved ones don't have to pay as much funeral wise. One case isn't a one size fits all solution for everyone. Some wanna die on their terms and some wanna wait..I 100 percent support assisted suicide. It is YOUR body, your choice not for anyone else to make. Of course you want a loved one to live longer but when it comes to someone's life you have to stop thinking about how much time u want left with this person. It's no about what you want it's about what THEY want. People need to stop being selfish and let people decide how they wanna die and if they wanna do the assisted suicide

My ticket has been punched and the Grim Reaper is lurking. Now I must decide how I want it to end it. I don’t want to be a burden to anyone. I just want to get my affairs in order and go. I don’t have a caregiver and my kids are trying to make their own way in this life! I want to be able to give them some kind of inheritance instead of the healthcare system.

My mom is dying of this. What a judgmental and gross comment! Christians are the most judgy. You don’t even have proof that there is a God but these people know for sure he is dying and suffering. It’s HORRIBLE. Do firmly believe God wants people to lay and suffer? Do you believe your God caused this or do you just give God credit when good things happen? Get out of here please!

Like you said, every patient is different and so is every scenario. This is up to the patient, not the doctor, not the family, and certainly NOT a political fund!! If a person decides to forego suffering and physical pain, let them!!! I am so happy the choice exists and will continue to exist!!!

my country recently legalized voluntary assisted dying and one must have a medical condition that will end their life within 6 - 12 months and has being legalized in 6 of 8 states which had being a long fought issue - before it was legalized some asisted their loved ones with suicide who were charged with a crime with the court being known to be lenient with punishment due to the circumstances and those who suicided wth their partner especially the elderly and some traveled to countries where it was legal and in some instances without loved ones as the cost of travel etc was too expensive so their loved one died alone and of course there were those who chose to see out their lives unassisted the legalization of voluntary assisted dying whilst in its early days i can see people wanting changes made to the process in future to include their cases its being a long debated issue and after many many years this is what we have come up with

THE GOSPEL (updated) Hello guys! May I have your attention even for just a second? this might take awhile btw haha-(this will get long) I would like to share something to all of you, feel free to read what I have to say, whether you may read this or not it is your free will if you will stay, but if you wish to leave then go ahead and do so, I am in NO way, shape or form trying to force this unto anyone, just scroll down if you dislike or feel offended of this. However, if you do, it IS and can be a missed opportunity to know more about this topic of truth. I am not forcing you to stay, for I am quite aware that many of you may have had a very bad experience with people sharing their belief or ideology in the past. On behalf of those people, whoever they may be, I truly apologize, I'm just trying to create a safe space for every person, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. But even so, try to listen, even for just a bit :) The Gospel is free to absolutely everyone, no matter what religion, race or background etc. you may have been in. Everyone is welcome to accept this free gift :D Anyways, let's start! ------- Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all un righteous and those who follow get His wrath. BECAUSE We cannot be found Righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. Just a simple curse, a roll of an eye, a lustful look or even just by being ourselves, is already subjected to Hell fire, because no matter what we do this isn't at all worthy of anything, even our own good are compared to filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) That is also why the LAW is there to STOP our mouths for us to REALIZE we can NEVER do it. (Romans 3:19) Now because of this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a SAVIOR (Titus 3:5). Now on to the GOSPEL. That savior is Jesus Christ. Salvation was finished and DONE by HIM and every ounce of our salvation RESTS ONLY BY HIS SACRIFICE. Once we trust He saved us, gave us eternal life, reconciled us by HIS blood, we are SEALED by the Holy spirit of promise, till the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30) THEN HE LEADS us to our purposes of righteous practical living, based on OUR NEW identity in Christ , as REASONABLE service and NOT to "work our way to salvation"(because remember, there is NON good but GOD(Mark 10:18) but to simply act as God's children, because HE LOVED US SO MUCH that Jesus died for us. That's the service we can give because of such an impact JESUS did WILLINGLY, it is our gratitude and not an act of trying to earn what we can NEVER achieve. It is a FREE GIFT(Romans 6:23) afterall, you can't earn a gift, because that wouldn't be a gift anymore, but a reward, and remember, Jesus dying is not worthy of any of us, we do not DESERVE such a great sacrifice, that is why you also can't earn salvation on your own, because we just CAN NEVER do it. And Jesus died EXACTLY for ALL of that, because He loves us too much. This simple Gospel message is also in: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 King James Version(for a more simple summary) "15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" NOTHING added to it because it's JUST THAT SIMPLE! :D There's more about the Gospel out there that I highly suggest, like Renee Roland for further assurance and Mark Dejesus for the psychological aspects of being a Christian. Anyways that's it! if you made it till the end, than I am HIGHLY grateful for giving me this chance to share to you! God bless and TAKE CARE! <3 (idk I'm just so passionate about this because so little so few people know the simple message of the Gospel of Christ, or even take it seriously at that T^T thanks so much for reading tho! Means a lot to me. AND By the way, often once saved always saved is trashed in the Christian community, now I can't force you to trust my words for we shouldn't trust anyone but God. So decipher things for yourselves and let God show you the wonders of what He has done for you)

I realize this video was from 4 years ago, but my heart goes out to you. I’m so glad you and your children were able to have that time with him. I was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2020. I can’t even begin to explain how it has affected me physically, mentally and emotionally. No one will understand how the chemotherapy creates what is referred to as “brain fog” and how severely the combination with the radiation affects your cognitive ability. I try very hard to continue to move forward everyday, but of late I feel like it’s time for me to move on so to speak. Both my sister and my brother live in other areas of the country and are not close by. I do have a handful of cousins in the area who have remained close and very helpful. This actually the first time I have expressed these feelings. I have not told my family my current thoughts and I’m not sure that I will. I know in my heart this is a decision I will have to make alone. My mom died of cancer and when she went through treatment I thought I knew what she was going through. Trust me, you really don’t know until you are going through it yourself. Believe me, it’s a whole different ball game. Consequently I don’t expect others to truly understand. I wish you all the best!

God bless them both! You have a RIGHT TO STOP YOUR OWN SUFFERING! It has to be so hard, but I would do it! I have had metastatic cancer and may have it again. I honestly don’t know if I could go through treatment again. EACH PERSON, ON THEIR OWN, MUST CHOSE,! DO NOT TAKE MY CHOICES AWAY. THE COURTS HAVE TAKEN AWAY OUR RIGHT TO BEAR CHILDREN! How do we find ourselves in this situation! Who got us in this situation?? Hummmmmmmmm. Was it divine impregnation! Like Jesus? Or was it “A man with needs”?

This is a sad but interesting topic - suicides. By the way, on the question of whether a person can kill himself with his own hands without technical devices, an unknown person on the Internet wrote that this is quite possible, but for this you need to do several things in the following sequence, we quote: “1) find a bed or other convenient place, lie on your stomach; 2) to make a series of deep and very fast breaths and exhalations (hyperventilation of the lungs) until dizziness, circles before the eyes and clouding of consciousness begin; 3) then, while holding your breath while exhaling, lie down on your elbows as soon as possible, bending your arms under your neck, and with your neck closer to the lower jaw, lie on the edge of the palms, substituted with the letter “V” so that the upper part of the carotid arteries is bridged - loss of consciousness should occur (deep fainting) from a combination of previous hyperventilation of the lungs and clamping of the carotid arteries, then suffocation should occur, but without torment, since it will occur in an unconscious state. Such is the unusual point of view. Who thinks about this? Is it possible? .....

The choice to use or not use assisted suicide is a very personal one. A friend of mine opted for it. He had inoperable cancer, his doctors told him they were out of treatment options and sent him home to die, and he was basically stuck at home, watching really boring TV. He then decided he was going to do the prescription suicide cocktail. He wouldn't tell his friends exactly when he was going to do it, but he knew exactly how he wanted to do it, what wines he wanted to drink after his suicide cocktail, and how he wanted to be memorialized and remembered. It's not a choice I'd want for myself, but it was his life, and his choice.
