If those manhours per year are the MINIMUM that occurs, then the overhead burden per hour is accurate. But if your estimated manhours are actually a maximum that COULD be incurred each year, the overhead burden rate may be short because some overhead costs remain the same whether your guys are working or not. Example - the vehicle payment doesn't change just because there was a huge storm and terrible January and there was no work, even though your (pay as you go) workermans' comp insurance may be less if they worked fewer hours. I love the spreadsheet, but my math brain kicked in...

Where did this take place? I just had a double wide DW done for 9500. This included two short sidewalks and a front door landing. I had them make it 30 inches wider than the old one.

Most of the contractors in my area won’t do a job less than $5,000. They also said materials “alone” were $5,000. It is such highway robbery.😅

so that spreadsheet is sold with access to the terms and conditions? I have been doing all of my contracts on google sheets, I save the pdf and send it to them and sometimes they can't sign? I would love to get into jobber or joist and do this way, love your terms and would love to "copy" them, mine says about the same but I like how blunt yours are

I now have 3 partners in my business im majority owner. They handle what I’m not good at , Marketing, paperwork, finance , I’m the best at closing deals . I’m now about to do 500k profit I learned to delegate as much as possible. Don’t be emotional in business was afraid I might loose control of my business but it was the best decision. I don’t have to do everything anymore . I own 5 propane truck, storage , 3 offices 50+ acres. @@Tyler-link So is it TTS with your voice as a model, or do you do the right thing and record your voice for each video? If so, it's the tone your voice has through whatever mic you're using (sounds a tiny bit distorted / gritty) and especially the compression in the way that there's a total lack of dynamics in the loudness of your voice. Both in a slightly unnatural way. Those are my observations as an audio engineer. Not saying it's a bad thing for what you do, but those qualities make it sound like AI. If you wanted to sound more natural, you could use a high-cut EQ to take some of the harsh frequencies out, or a bell curve cut at around 2 kHz to 5 kHz. Simple EQ, but that might be beyond your capabilities with the tools you use.

For those griping about the $42/hr for labor...that's a low bill rate. That $42 includes FICA, health (maybe), worker's comp, liability insurance, and usually some built-in margin. But $42/hr turns into $21/hr net for employees real quick.
