@@davidmeyer4506 how the hell are you 12 seconds faster than me 😭😭 that’s insane, do you have any videos of your individual level records or just any%? Or is everything used in this run also used in individual level world records? I’ve been speedrunning this game for a few days so far and I might try any%.

​@@light772sandwich I would love the competition to be honest :) i believe the only thing i missed is falling through the platform in stage 17, if you mash/press on the right frame you can fall through the platform straight to the chest. Everything else is basically the fastest way that i have discovered so far. There may be some strats in the cloud levels that i haven't found yet but those wouldnt save much anyway i believe. If you can find anything new i would love to see it :)

@@davidmeyer4506 Wait I’ve done that 17 thing before, I found that myself I got like a low 1 second time, but for sure! I’ve been trying to find new things but I’ve found mothing that you haven’t found, you do every level like a couple milliseconds faster and that must add up to the 12 second difference somehow 😭😭 I’ll be your competition! Just let me get to your level haha

​@@light772sandwich there are small optimisations like bonking the head to move down faster here and there. Added up that could save at least .5 seconds over this run. Idk if the falling through platforms works on stage 18 as well, i can go through the first but never the others. If that is possible then seconds could be saved. If ya like you can upload a run of yours to speedrun.com and i can give you some tips on how to improve further 🤔

I searched through Videos on the Violetti Goottii Theme Tab (in the Video Description you can find it) and found someone doing it. Then i figured out where that could be applied to save time. That simple.

Spent 3 hours so far running, my total Sum of best is 2:45.36. I can probably push it even lower. I want a good deathless run now :D biggest trouble i have is remembering Level order, and when to start left instead of right.

@@davidmeyer4506 According to what I see, our sum of best is about 2 min 50, but since it's a save also used for testing, it might be off, I know for sure my sum of best was about 3min back then, I'll retry! Thanks to the sum of best you always have a goal to reach haha!

For some reason on Stage 7 it says 0:0 as best time :/ may be another bug? Best time on that Stage is 1.80 Seconds. Total SoB is now at 2:44.63 😁

@@davidmeyer4506 Weird, I'll look into it but it won't make its way into the game before long unfortunately, I cannot even look at your save, because I don't know how it's saved on the PS4 Your SoB is off incidentally, or you're accounting for that already? Your best time on Stage 7 is that low? Are you sure? How is that even possible x)

Total SoB has 17 accounted for, i just add 1.8 Seconds to my SoB then it is accurate. That is possible by jumping on the platform you can go through, and i mash jump, because if i press the button right as i land i just fall through the platform ^^

Oh wow yeah i totally blinded that lol, thanks for the tip. 2 seconds saved :D Stage 28 is really tough tho i tell ya, but is satisfying to get. I found one bug in Stage 23. When i get the key, i get stuck inbetween the screen transition. I can record that if you like.

@@davidmeyer4506 Oh? For you it's the 28? Interesting. I exactly see what you're talking about, the thing is this platform was supposed to be there to do exactly what you did (not have to climb back all the way), but since we kept missing it when grabbing the key we didn't test enough the collision, can be easily fixed!

@@davidmeyer4506 So we added a failsafe that, when being stuck in a cloud, make you go up (that was the simplest thing, because I couldn't manage to fix the collision in itself)

@@davidmeyer4506 I don't have it unfortunately, and since we're the devs, submitting a record would be unfair. On your video, at about 3:30, the game seems to run really slow, was it because you restarted your run (without quitting the game) many times? We are aware of two possible causes, but we just want to be sure it was the game and not your recording.

@@yzo_studio actually that was my first run after restarting the game. I have noticed too that the game seems to slow down after some time has elapsed for some reason, this is the best i could do. I played on PS4, not sure what your device of choice is... Ooh just noticed you are the devs, imo it's not an issue, if you want to submit a run feel free to do so :)

@@davidmeyer4506 We watched your run carefully, and apart from one thing (there is another shortcut really hard to do on the same level where the shortcut trophy is), there is not much to be improved. So the time we thought we had must have been on an early build too different from final release (apart from the last level and some tiny changes the levels stay pretty much the same), so forget what we said, 3:55 might be the best time one could achieve. The game was first released on HTML & PC, it sometimes had trouble on the HTML version but ran fine on any PC. The PS4 (& PS5, released today) was done by someone else, so we will also talk with our publisher to see if it can be fixed easily. We added this timer because we thought some might be interested in speedrunning it, we have another game coming next month that also could be speedrunned (although we didn't implement a "run timer" because of some reasons). Perhaps! We created an account to follow in the case you report bugs or anything else; Cheers!

Ne du das wird wahrscheinlich nix, Wanuke dominiert in dieser Kategorie schon seit über 5 Jahren und ist 30 Sekunden schneller. Wäre toll den Weltrekord zu kriegen aber ich schau für's erste in die Top 3 zu kommen, dann unter 14:20 und dann seh ich mal. Für Weltrekord braucht man Glück mit Waffen und den Pattern von den Bossen.

Bro it's even on the Google Play Store. It's also on Steam and PS4. They are all one and the same. Phone Version came first, then they just ported it to consoles.

I loved the PC Version from Phenomedia too, my sister and i played it for hours trying to find weird shit, and we found quite a bit. Like a spot near the bridge in the Castle where you can just drop OOB and drive around, it was so much fun. This Version by Markt+Technik is just awful, do NOT buy!!!

Ne du das hab ich schon mal gemacht. Den gesamten Modus auf gut 50 Minuten, aber die WiiU hat deutlich schnellere Ladezeiten. Hab nur keine WiiU. Aber so einzelne Missionen mach ich schon gerne, vor allem Boss 1,2 und 6.

@@davidmeyer4506 zwar hat die WiiU schnellere Ladezeiten, jedoch kann man mit dem DS konstanter und angenehmer die Missionen und deren Strategien ausführen. Der Weltrekord steht aktuell bei 37m und 57s (aufgestellt mit dem DS Phat) Als Alternative könntest du die japanische Version von MKDS als ROM herunterladen, womit man auf dem DS die schnellsten Ladezeiten hat

Ich bleibe lieber bei den Sachen die ich gut kann, und das sind einzelne Missionen. Aber danke für die Infos
