The same issue has occurred to us as a TDS amount of 1 lakh rupees was deducted u/s 194N but not get reflected in my 26AS form. We were not aware about this hectic scenario and opportunities explained by you hence we filed ITR just around my 26AS form and the amount which is not showing in 26AS form is till unclaimed. @pathkris2984 the govt has clarified with CBDT today evening that only if major loans are defaulted and heavy amount of taxes are due or undertaking are given for payment of taxes, then only income tax clearance certificate will be required. Not all citizens

First take a written acknowledged copy of the TDS challan which bank must have paid in November to 2023 . Check your PAN details in it whether deducted or not. If the manager still doesn't accept complain officially to bank and RBI ombudsman.

As you have accepted the tab don't reply to verify and dont file updated ITR. Let the dept send a notice . Then reply with the correct data. Otherwise the FD interest Mismatch resolved on its own

I have purchased a flat in second sale in 1992 from an investor via sale deed on Rs 100 stamp paper. He had purchased the flat directly from the builder in 1988 via sale deed on Rs 10 stamp paper. Do I need to apply for both these sale deeds. Also will stamp duty be calculated on both these sale deeds seperately, or will the stamp duty be clubbed to determine waiver of the stamp duty. Please get back.

Sir I have a query: Apartment is on my mothers name, agreement to sale is registered duly in May 1999, and stamp duty is paid. But Assignment deed is not stamped/registered. It is done on Rs 50 Stamp Paper, in May 2000, in Sub registrar Haveli also the document is not stamped. We have Only the Xerox of Assignment deed, but we have certified copy of agreement to sale. Mother is demised and original owner is also demised. What is the correct process to proceed in our case?

As of now it's from 1980. In respect of deeds executed between January 1, 1980 and December 31, 2020, but not filed or registered, the entire stamp duty and penalty payable to the Revenue department will be exempted under the Abhay Scheme
