Sir, Why in most of the DM domain date variables are considered as Qualifier variables why not Timing Variables
@prashanthiprashanthi81869 күн бұрын
sir,one silly question EOS is not SDTM domain right,In above video you used EOS from where you get it?is it intermediate dataset?if no means from where we will get DEATH details in AE(I think this death first we will considered into AE)
@mycsg6 күн бұрын
EOS is a raw dataset that is used to capture the end of study status for the subject.

Should we include tumor identifier in RS as well, as we are assessing response for each tumor as well as overall?
@mycsg28 күн бұрын
no, we assess the response overall if it is based on recist criteria... not sure if there is guideline or study specific requirement to check response of individual tumors... if so, then tumor identifier has meaning in RS too..

Hi sir, i have a small doubt, which treatment we consider from adsl dataset planned or actual.. We follow the SAP?

Hello actually I am little confused on merging like if I create ADSL dataset so I have need to merge DM with VS Which merging should I do here like inner, full, left and right merging?
@mycsgАй бұрын
you will have to process your vs data such that there is one record per subject and do left join with adsl as left dataset

correct, provided your vs dataset has one record per subject... most common parameter from vs is baseline weight - if your vs is processed like that for baseline weight then it is correct

Hello Sir, I have one doubt. The derivation logic for each variables in your spec will varry depends on study design? will that be given to us by sponcer or should we remember all these ourself ? Please advise.

derivations of some variables and parameters remain same/similar across studies... for other things, details will be available in statistical analysis plan and spec should be drafted based on those details...

why ARMNRS for 1003 is different from 1006?
@mycsgАй бұрын
1003 is assumed to be a screen failure where as 1006 is assumed to be a screen pass but not randomised... so, the reasons would differ... we do see such cases in real time

indsname=_x; what this mean? why repeat twice?
@mycsgАй бұрын
it's not a repeat... the first instance is creaing the temporary variable named _x using indsname option of the set statement. second instance is creating a permanent variable named indsname by using the value from _x.
@laurendai1731Ай бұрын
??best what this mean?

?? is an informat modifier which tells sas to convert the values to numeric only if its a valid numeric value and do not write any message to log file for invalid numeric data...

coalesce doesn't compare the values, it only fetches the first non-missing value of the two variables passed..

Hi @mycsg thanks for the easy understanding way of teaching. I have a little confusion about Domains like in my mnc most of them communicate as EFFICACY Domains, SAFETY Domains. What are they and on what basis they were classified as it is.
@gurusaidatta4222 ай бұрын
Open to anyone's response
@mycsgАй бұрын
a dataset may get classified as efficacy if it contains some information that is used to evaluate efficacy as determined in the protocol... all the other datasets may get classified as safety... so, the classification of the data using this terminology is very study specific...

Hi sir , thanks for insights of timing variables, here PCRFTDTC means can we assume RFSTDTC?

if pk samples are collected after different doses, the value in pcrftdtc will differ on different rows . so, we cannot directly assume that it is same as rfstdtc without knowing the study design
