Yea it should at least give me an idea as I crank it up. Next time out going up to 16, 17, 18 of boost. We'll see how that sbe does.

Getting running a 4.030" bore SBC with notches in the cylinders to unshroud a big intake valve and 4.060" gasket. 6" rods. 3.48" stroke. 0 deck. .038" total quench. 10.5:1 Static C/R measured and XR288HR cam on 108 LSA 106 LCA. Promaxx project X 215 ported heads. PRW 1.65:1 roller rockers. 1980 z28 camaro. TH350 automatic transmission. 3.90 gear, 10" tire. Vic JR. intake. 1" tapered spacer, Edelbrock VRS 850 carb with annular boosters. 3400 lbs with driver and fuel. Does anyone know if this combo can work?

Slow.... 1.34-1.35 60 foot pretty much everytime. With the radials, it was always 128-1.30. Slicks slowed me down. It may go 2 or 3 faster once I start using the t brake again.

I just put this cam in my 383 with AFR 195 heads and wondered if I could find an example of how the cam runs and wow I'm sure you have a bit more done to your motor than I do but 10's is nothing to scoff at. Heck I'd be happy to hit anything in the 11's

I ran this cam in a 355 with 9.72-1 compression, vortec heads, 4200 converter, th350, 3.90 gears, 750 HP carb in a 1987 Iroc full body full interior street car and it ran 11.90s@111 mph on motor.

Single plane. Victor jr 4150. I dont drive it arround much anymore but its driveble. Its pretty tame for a 509bbc. Idles good. Vac is decent.

Thinking the same thing. Although if it is a TH400 would put in 2.10, 1.40 gear set in the trans for the perfect gear spread on that 509 bbc. It shall lay down more powerband and maybe gain a tenth or two. Would need launch at peak torque probably. Of course i would even use it on a stroker small block, just TH350 is lighter and less drag unless TH400 has the mod that keeps the whole thing from turning all of the time.

it's hard to believe you'd go from turbo v6 to just another n/a sbc Camaro. I figured you had master plans. but if you're having fun that's all that matters.

1flynlow yea it's fun. I had all intentions of a turbo v8. But once I ran 11s so easily I realized I could make some 10 second passes all motor and still have a streetable car. And the v8 is so much cheaper to build and durable. Although the v6s were such a blast and I'm sure I'll build another one!

yes on thirdgen.org in the v6 area. fasteddis hybrid swap and turbo swap. Its turboed th350 swapped 3400 top end on a 3.4l exc. it has significant modified work.
