2:45 I love that person’s username being Udge… I actually renamed Microsoft Edge to Microsoft Udge a couple years ago, and a couple months later I purged a lot of the Desktop Shortcut names and added Udge to the names… Chrome became ChromUdge Sheets became ChromUdge Table Slides became ChromUdge Slip Docs became ChromUdge Paper Steam became Udge iTunes became UdgeTunes Cemu - Shortcut became Cemu - Udgecut The Sims 4 became The Udge 4 I kid you not, I had SO much Udge on my desktop! That isn’t even close to all of it!

Champion Cynthia - Pokémon Diamond & Pearl (2006) Alternate idea for Lucario: Sir Aaron’s Theme - Pokémon The Movie: Lucario & The Mystery Of Mew (2005) Donkey and/or Diddy Kong: Course Clear! - Donkey Kong Country (1994) R.O.B.: Literally any fitting Subspace Emissary (2008) piece you can find, take your pick Meta Knight: Keep Meta Knight’s Revenge, but switch it to the official Brawl version because obvious reasons Mii Fighters (especially the Swordfighter): Area Clear! - StreetPass Mii Plaza: Find Mii (2011) Mewtwo: Battle! Smash ultimate was so well done that when I find something a fan does better it’s so surprising to me. Also as someone who played Radiant Dawn SO MUCH as a kid. Hearing that version of “Eternal Bond” with Ike’s smash victory screen gave me goosebumps and made me happy in a way I can’t properly explain.

If I’m being honest, a lot of these themes drag on, what the music team for ssbu have taken measure to not do (shortening TLOZ characters, Yoshi, Ice Climbers and the Pokemon characters themes as 4 examples of cut out bits and the Animal Crossing characters and the Mario character’s as examples of slight speed up).

I tried to stay within 1 second of all of the original themes, but some of them were a bit longer or shorter. For me though, I didn't want to compromise on the integrity of the melody. That's why I entended some like Pikachu and Ice Climbers back to their longer forms. Some of them just felt truncated to me if you take off the first half, like just hearing the punchline without the setup.

@@PuffballExplosion I largely do agree with ultimate’s decision to shorten themes, but even in ultimate the lengths are wildly inconsistent (see kirby theme and fire emblem victory themes).

Why didn't Nintendo get the rights to use any of C418's music in Smash? As a boomer I recognize absolutely none of the themes that are actually in the game
