God walked the earth and one came up to him and asked Yeshua point blank… How can I have eternal life? Yeshua told him if he wants eternal life, keep the commandments!!! Exactly, but this pastor wants them to do something first: look for God in the Bible. Romans 10:14 "...how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." If they don't read the Bible, they won't know his commandments, and they won't obey them. Our duty as Christians is teach them about God, His plan and His word. Then, when they have a personal relationship with God, they'll be able to live as God intended and receive God's blessings. Don't get it twisted, God can change them but they gotta meet him first.
