Yes the '88 Topps were Tiffany. For the years they made them, the Tiffany parallels were the only glossy versions of the base sets and traded. Also, you did get a couple decent ones in the soccer packs. Without going back and re-watching, the two good ones I remember off the top of my head were Tony Meola (USA) and Frank De Boer (Netherlands), they are both Hall of Famers in their respective countries.
