@@Hunter-fp3rs The Channel Islands[note are an archipelago in the English Channel, off the French coast of Normandy. They are divided into two Crown Dependencies: the Bailiwick of Jersey, which is the largest of the islands; and the Bailiwick of Guernsey, consisting of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm and some smaller islands. Historically, they are the remnants of the Duchy of Normandy. Although they are not part of the United Kingdom,the UK is responsible for the defence and international relations of the islands as it is for the other Crown Dependency, the Isle of Man, and the British Overseas Territories.[

Hello doc how do you tell if a dorper ewe is pregnant?

Good question,there are six ways 1.You can stand behind the ewe and clasp the belly with both of your hands just infront of the udders and try to lift up,in late gestation you will feel the fetus/es.Only accurate in late gestation,at least 60 days onwards 2.Testing of Estron Sulphate presence and levels in urine-this one is done at 50 and 70 days after breeding. 3.Hormones-Progesterone hormones can be tested at 50 and 70 days after breeding. 4.Radiography at 70 and 90 days after breeding. 5.Vaginal biopsies at day 40 after breeding 6.Ultrasound-this is by far the most accurate,and can be done between 60-80 days after breeding.
