it makes me so happy to know there's older people watching heartstopper. I just know I'm going to still be thinking about heartstopper when I'm 71

it’s so awesome how big the fan base is and it’s really encouraging to hear that there are older viewers and that you really respect the show and everything it means. so often, people are reluctant to accept new media and the new representation that comes with it. it’s a delight being a fan alongside you :)

No, not really because Kit kept cutting him off. Don't think that's so funny from Kit. If you look at the interview more closely, you can tell from Joe's facial expression that I didn't really fit. Actually rude of Kit.

I’ve noticed that Joe can be switched on and engaged in some interviews and less so in others, regardless of whether he is on his own or with cast members. He has admitted his social battery can run down quite quickly so it could be that he is just a bit tapped out from all the interviews. Even when there is silence he doesn’t jump in to fill it. Whereas Kit seems more intent on keeping up the charm and making sure the conversations flow smoothly. I’m sure they have discussed it, how could they not? For all we know Joe appreciates the fact Kit can be his energetic self and take some of the onus off him. From what we have seen this week, Joe is no wallflower. He can hold his own with Kit and anyone else.

Just because kit didn't say happy birthday to joe publicly doesn't mean he didn't at all?? I mean, he doesn't do happy birthday storys about anyone, really, and they hang out together when the cameras are off, so whats stopping them when the show ends??? There's still, of course, going to be heart stopper events after, like the yearly anniversary and stuff. They have a good bond, and just because they won't have as many interveiws together doesn't mean they won't stop being friends. And plus, it's not ended yet, so dont stress too much

They mentioned quite a lot during various interviews that they text often so I believe he just wished him happy birthday privately, how it should be actually. Life isn't social media, guys

They're very good friends off set and offline. Kit went to see Joe on Broadway back in march, and they've recently done an interview that shows how much they hang out even when they aren't filming heartstopper. Kit has also said he's trying to take a step back from social media. so yeah, just because we dont see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen xx

Joe tends to get very shy in the interviews and he also lets everyone else always finish their thoughts, so he gets talked over quite a lot or doesn't get the opportunity to share more wit us, unfortunately.

Somehow Joe never got a chance to speak because Kit spoke up every time. Joe always said yes yes, sometimes one sentence and that was it. Kit should also let him have his say.

@@caruarias I’ve done nothing but watch interviews of them for the last week lol…and I’ve noticed that Joe does have a tendency to let Kit take the lead on a lot of the questions! Joe is still somewhat new to this world whereas Kit has been in the industry since he was a kid. I’m sure this is something they’re both aware of and Joe doesn’t mind it at all!

@@jasminedobbins3353 Kit tends to talk over Joe and Joe tends to let Kit talk over them, it's both, I guess. For me, the biggest surprise during Agatha press was Joe talking so much.
