Bravo, bravo bravo You’re done Prince, proud, and you added a bit of your own flare. This song still brings tears to my eyes. And I believe it’s one of the best songs ever ever 1:13 written about the heartbreak of a lost friendship.. lost a friend recently we’ve been the closest a friends for six years. The only lyric I would change is “such a shame. Our friendship doesn’t have to end.. “ thanks guys that’s off to you

Damn. I was NOT expecting someone to nail the vocals of this song like you did. Absolutely incredible, wow!!! That being said, it sounds like you sped up the rhythm, which really does not do the cover any favors, imo. The type of pain that Chris is singing about isn’t a “quickly come quickly go” type of pain…quite the opposite. Your cover would have been just about 99.9% perfect otherwise, but is still wildly impressive, nonetheless. Idk if I would have known that this wasn’t actually Chris, if I was just listening, and this is one of my favorite songs of all time. Amazing work. Bravo….BIG TIME bravo 👏 👏 👏

Same boat here. I wish so badly that Chris would lean a bit further into this direction. At least make a few more songs similar to the style of this. I mean goddamn, i don’t think i could think of 10 male singers with a better voice off the top of my head, regardless of genre. This song is an absolute fuckin vocal masterclass. The instrumentals are absolutely incredible as well….but that VOICE!!! Absolutely unbelievable.
