Sometimes it's about finding the right audience. I personally love playing live, but a crowd like that'll definitely trigger my anxiety as well. And I don't necessarily blame them completely, they just probably didn't come to see live music so they're not interested. I swear your stuff would totally resonate among genuine music lovers but yeah, those gigs tend to be harder to get. Hope the heat and humidity calm down soon, and wishing you a happy new year in advance 💚

Your vocal is (as always) pretty dialed in mate, but have you played around with much modulation for your guitar tone ? Double tracking this guitar with a light flanger or some type of dreamy phaser tone layered over the clean could sound huge. Plus it wouldn’t be too hard to recreate for live gigs via a loop or even just a stretched delay. Whatever your process is mate keep doing what your doing ! It clearly works

What’s your opinion of the acoustasonic? I get the concept and see the appeal but the only two I’ve ever played felt lifeless 🤷♂️.

@@TJJJJJJJJJJJ it's a funny one really. I like mine but I do get what you mean. I'm not really into acoustic guitars tbh. I feel electric guitars have this emotion to them that acoustic guitars can't really do it.

@ I’m definitely an electric player 95% of the time these days but I started on acoustic (well actually started with mandolin at first) and the learning curve on those is incredibly steep. I usually start writing on acoustic first though because if I can get something going on with that it’s going to sound even better on electric. The guitar itself plays a bigger roll compared to electric. Like you can plug in basically any strat into a good amp and a few pedals you can practically do anything. Where an acoustic really needs to be dialled in if you want to sound good. I’m fortunate my old man is a luthier so I got to learn on some killer instruments growing up.
