They are all my Wiis, to run a tournament of 72 entrants in only 4 hours I was not going to let people waste time with unplugging and setting up personal Wiis between GPs, not to mention the cheating possibilities that arise from people using their own hardware and even one of the settings on any of the consoles being different could induce 12 simultaneous setups crashing and I wasn't about to find out on the day.

Also yes, plenty of people with little experience entered this event, Inferno Kong here took all their money, why didn't you? xD

@@petespad No, no issue with that. I think it’s actually really cool how it was set up. If I was there I definitely would have played. I think more MKW tournaments should be set up like this.

@@petespadso how many setups did you have? I’m assuming 12 Wiis at a time(Wiis/Screens/Controllers cost money and take up space), but more is possible and makes it go by faster so I’m curious

@@miiwii I had 2 sets of 12 Wiis (24 total) hooked up to splitters using Wii ethernet adapters and we also provided 24 CRT TVs 📺. All controllers were legal but the event was strictly BYOC. We were open to players requesting to play on a monitor but they would have to provide it. 72 players was 6 12p GPs with the top 2 from each advancing into the final 12p GP

combo destroyer Yeah! They gave it more active frames, pretty much giving it better hop pressure/ neutral potential among other things.

Victor Medrano NAH there's a good reason I'd shake that sorta dropped combo off, since Antonov 6A forces standing and his Vertical Macho doesn't hit crouchers all that reliably, so it's a matter of execution in this scenario. No biggie!

But you have to agree, he still needs a buff. Im not talking about his damage, im talking about his normals, some of them like s.C and s.D are slow. His normal super with D is weak as hell, and he leaves a lot of gaps to be punished. Hope SNK fix at least one of these issues to make him usable. I love this character, and i really want to see him in his full potential.

Theres a brazilian player thats also a god with Antonov, Código de Barras. He's a monster.
