I’m Kun Khmer me and my sisters sibling has been practicing there’s Khmer art cultural dances since I was 9 years old and so my sisters as well. The Empire Khmer are use to be a massive territories that expand to other Sough East Asia mainland . That’s reflect the epics of Khmer Empire has heavily influence toward other neighbors countries. The Angkor Wat support the strong testament of Khmer Ancieng histories and these cultural Khmer dance its engraving upon the stonewall and their image inscriptions histories are all over the mural of Angkor Wat Temple.

Before foreigners came into this land Cambodia is a province of Siam. Since ancient times, Cambodia has been a province in Siam. Until foreigners came in and squeezed Cambodia out. and Siam ceded this province to France The French finally captured the province. to establish a new country On the walls of Angkor Wat, the names of the Siamese kings were carved in the way the Siamese called them and called them Thais. And the names of various places are all Siamese names in the Thai language that Siam uses to this day. ..All names are not names that Khmer people call each other.

Not even close. You can clearly tell from a mile away between the dances Khmers and Thais. Not even remotely close. Besides Khmer hand movements have meaning but Thais don’t. Oh, don’t forget to mention, Thais captured the Khmer court dancers back to Thailand after the invasion of Cambodia and force them to teach Thai dancers how to dance.

@@wolo8107Princess Norodom Buppha Devi said in an interview that Thais came to teach her and her grandmother. They also said during that time Cambodia was weak and was very influenced by Siam. The dance was reform to be be Khmer and to be different so you would be able to tell it apart. But now days you don't even know what is what. The traditional dance costume was also invented during Princess Norodom Buppha Devi. But my question is why does her grandmother did not remember anything from the traditional dance to clothing. There are traditional Khmer dance but it's very different to this.

@@woodoopui184I've seen interviews on the royal Khmer ballet. I've seen Cambodians saying Papaya Salad comes from Cambodia when it actually comes from Laos. I think it's to convince people and make them look grand. But this type of misinformation will come back to bite them.

You wish. Khmer kingdom has made mention of dancers for centuries, well before the formation of the first Siam kingdom. Even western scholars have written how Ayutthaya took with them Khmer dancers, artisans, priests, etc. Central Thai culture is from Ayutthaya and Ayutthaya was Khmer culture. Even Khmer language was used extensively during the early period. Even a professor from Thammasat University wrote about this.
