Suppose if we configure backhaul in any of the appliance then will the appliance get a default route ?

47:23 There's no need for the Edge Node to have a route. Edge queries the control plane nodes where is the destination. Edge does not need to know exact route in the overlay. Only routing table edge cares for is underlay build by IGP (ISIS or OSPF)

On the hub side, the peer address should be configured as any or 0.0.0.0, rather than specifying a fixed IP, since, as you mentioned, the spoke’s IP address is dynamic and may change over time.

I believe you should be able to enable dhcp snooping on the access switch. The edge router would need to relay the option 82 information. However, this still doesn't work if you're using a cisco router as the dhcp server because it doesn't process the option 82 information, so you would need windows or linux server as the dhcp server.

Only comment I have is when you talked about your logical iBGP sessions should follow physical topology to prevent loops, I agree in the specific scenario you presented but another solution would have been to make M1 and M2 clients to both T1 and T2, especially since they had the same cluster ID. This would have prevented a routing loop as well.
