You should use the term "old school"..... the algorithm would probably pick that up more

I was doing an EFI swap on my 72 Demon and I’m ripping it off and staying carb. It’s a waste of money to chase down issues with the EFI. Customer service is also trash for all of the EFI companies out there.

When he talks about outgassing that was an issue with organic pads, which are not used any more. Most of what he says is simply no longer true. There is no benefit to slotted/drill rotors, they will not impove braking. Your tires are what makes the difference. The only benefit for slotted/drilled rotors is repeated hard braking, to improve cooling. For a street driven daily use car there is no reason for them, most brake shops won't resurface them, and they can cause excessive pad wear.

So I can't park my pickup in a garage. If I have a drop-in bed liner I take it I really need to remove it after a really hard rain that might overwhelm the Short sidewalls of the bed and get water around and under it? I would think I would have some rust problems if I didn't do that.

On the GMT400's Chevy dropped the Scottsdale trim on the C/K Pick-Ups on the mid-late '92 models, in '93 GMC dropped the SLX trim on the Sierra. GMC introduced the SLT trim in which we all know comes with leather seats, power mirrors, and power seats for the late '94 model Sierras although making the SLE trim the middle trim prior to the '95 interior update. For the '99-'00 Classic models Chevy did away with the Cheyenne and Silverado trim level names on the carry-over models with Base (Cheyenne) and LS (Silverado) to avoid confusion with the GMT800 Silverado.

There is part of the brake line that moves when when the wheel turns, the end portion of the line that attaches to the calliper, won't steel lines break easier at that point compared to rubber?

A 4.8 or 5.3 with 3:1 can get decent mpg. Anything above 14 mpg is okay for me around town. If its replacing a $40,000 truck, who cares about mpg? I see decent rust free squares for $2,000 here in South Texas. I like the long beds - which sell for less. I have a '78 Sierra 4x4 with NP205

Great video. My 17-year-old worked this summer to buy a truck and turn a wrench. This is what we found him, 1982. We towed it home with parts in the cab and bed, and now he has it running and takes it to his after-school job. It's been fun for both of us!
