Human sadness and the demo will always hold a dear place in my heart. I remember I first found Human Sadness the day before my brother died. I was in bed listening to music before my last week of high school and stumbled on the full song. My first thought was " Man, Harrison is gonna love this I can't wait to show him!". Then after my AP test next morning, I came home to learn he passed away the previous night while at college. Over the next few days of mourning, I played it probably a hundred times until I finally stumbled on the demo. It just made sense to me.. finding them both when I did. It felt like a storyboard. Who knows maybe he would have heard both and thought "ehh it's not my thing".. I mean that hardly matters now. The version I remember of him likes it and we listen to them all the time

i found this song during a really hard time in my life and i can say it genuinely made me feel better everytime i listened to it, the relatable tone and nostalgic feeling makes me feel complete even if the song is intentionally meant to be sad and gloomy.
