I had no issues with the sound, it actually sounds way better than the factory unit. Mine unit came with too high volume, I had to go to the music equalizer screen and create my own custom profile that had a lower volume. If you are having low volume, then, go to the same screen and create a sound profile with higher volume.

@flixmasterz4411 I actually had to splice my wire to the amp wire to get it to work. Same issue you had afterward. I just needed to adjust to keep the sound it from being very load.

Bro, again me I have a question. When u connect the new harness to car factory harness, you have literally all the work done because the new harness has all the radio needs right, usbs mic rear cam and all right, or is that apart

Yes, the fascia kit came with the correct harness, which connected to the car's factory harness. It was as easy as that.

It is working perfectly since the day I bought it, 2 years ago. however, I had to do factory reset one time when I had tried to add a screen lock password that glitched every time I started the car. I don't have back headrest screens in my car but the front display comes with video Out RCA connection for headrest screens. I think it will display what is on the front screen.

Steering wheel controls still work? Is there any way to retain, at least, some of the original radio's functionality? Volume and tuning/selector knobs, maybe? While this looks great, leaving a dead/dark radio in the dash screams "ghetto". Great video, BTW!

I bought a universal screen so no steering control, my steering has none so works for me. If you need steering control to work, buy a screen specific to the Galant, it costs 3 times than the universal one. You are right the original radio looked terrible at night, all dead. So I split power from fuse #16 and connected to the radio so when I turn the headlights on, the radio lights up. Thanks for watching.

Yes, if you click Report and there is no history, then error codes have been cleared.

At 7:11, I stated 'Relocate the clock behind the dash'. to create room for the new radio. I did not want to remove this clock gadget as I don't know what else it does in the car ... just to avoid problems in case it is needed by the car main computer for something.

@@flixmasterz4411that ground wire in the clock avoids the airbag light to pop on the cluster. If it is disconnected with the battery on.. Airbag light will be on. Btw the stock led stereo light still light up?

@@rogerylexi8240 Good question! The blue light was gone because the original radio no longer had power. It looked terrible at night! What I did is get power from the new screen harness and the ground wire from the clock in order to power the original radio. Now the blue lights powers up at night.

thanks for the video, worked for my 04 galant installing a 7 inch ISO radio unit... i spent half the install time trying to figure out how the metal bracket installed, then i noticed u had the screws at an angle and the bracket backwards to hold the radio in place, funny thing is it works and i did the same. i used the sharp screws that i took off from the orignal Galant radio and screwed them in "snug fit"... another problem is my harness didnt come with a ground so i had to ground it to the metal bracket inside the dash, i checked with a multimeter to make sure the bar was grounded, there are a few more wires using it as ground as well i noticed. other than those 2 things I think your video showed good enough information. thanks for sharing. oh and i left unplugged that other 3 or 4 wire connector, it goes to the upper time LCD. 7 inch is a bit small, now im wondering if the 9 ich android unit would fit in the dash if i chop off and shave some of the faceplate.

@@flixmasterz4411 yea i seen that faceplate, but i wasnt sure if its for the top or bottom, it has picture of the lower faceplate with AC control holes but in separate pictures it shows upper dash installed... lol... seller needs to fix it and just show actual product. assuming i was going to instalp a 9 I would first attempt to chop with a dremel the existing faceplate i have since ide have nothing to loose. i seen a diff KZbin video of them doing it with a dremel and came out nice... its kinda old school style before all these people started mass production of custom faceplates

Thanks for sharing. For the Tesla Screen, how do you turn on the 360°/surround view cameras without shifting the gear to reverse? I noticed the unit did not come with camera button like the stock head unit. Also, the TPMS still work? Thanks!

Thanks for watching. For the 360 surround camera, I have to shift to Reverse, no other option. The TPMS does not work on the screen, I have never tried to find a solution. I have installed a Heads Up Display [HUD] that show when tire pressure gets low.

I did not use speaker wires, because the harness from the unit has all speakers wires marked and all I had to do is match the wires to the Scosche harness, see at 2:45
