My book seems different in the first chapter, I was trying to follow along when I didn’t have cell service but my chapter 1 discusses 3’ from gold and his mammy - this online one talks about 2 kids working? What’s the disconnect?

He states in the story, that his rich dad knew the importance of given to charities, but yet he paid his employees poorly. Why not just pay people a decent wage, then they won’t need your charity.

I’m 27 just finding this, I’m only about 1.5 hours into listening to this and so far it’s been great. I can relate a lot already to what has been said and the feelings of the children. Mark my words. This will be my comeback with a new mindset!

@2:37:01 "the rich are minding their business and using their wealth to influence tax code" Nice Doubletalk
@alexperezaip427 күн бұрын
I like the part where Robert says taxes are to take from the rich to give the poor. All while all his business ventures benefit from paved roads, running water, sewage, public safety, which tax dollars support. Then he calls you all poor and dumb for paying your taxes. A vulture who wants to take from the society but not contribute to it. Slimeball
