This is amazing!!! I Just attended a play that shead light and perspective on the caregiving dynamic. It was incredible. The play started with God talking to a husband saying your wife is about to have a brain aneurysm you need to take the lead, you can do this. The next was a sister trying to find a care facility for her brother, she was trying to navigate all the paperwork and sitting on hold. Truly touching.

@@alu-truthapoet thank you for your comments. Please do what you can to care for yourselves by creating a plan in advance and then caring for each other. The care facilities are nightmares. They look shiny, but there’s no soul in them.

My mic was turned off until 42 minutes in! Phone got hijacked again! However at 40 minutes in, I came across a Momma Deer and her fawn. Unfortunately, because I did not have control of my phone, I wasn’t able to capture it. 😢 The baby was probably recently born. Please skip to the last 20 minutes of this video to listen. Great food for thought, Amy. I'm starting to have some discussions with my parents about their bills. They have always been very quiet about these issues (as there is a lack of open money talk in my family) so I really have no idea. But they really need to have some help with maintenance in the next few years or their home won't be as liveable. My sister and I can help somewhat, but it seems clear that we will have to make some big decisions in the next 1-2 years about this issue.

Starting the conversation with family members, especially those who want to stay in their homes, can be hard. This conversation about how much your property tax bill (or home insurance) has gone up is a great conversation starter. Let them know about the property tax deferment program. I put the link in the description.
