I lived on an inner Lake in Michigan for more than 50 years. My biggest fear for my family and myself was in the spring fall when lake would begin to thaw out neighborhood dogs or deer would go on the ice. I told my husband if I ever saw that I would have to get in the car and drive away because I would not risk my life, but I would absolutely want to risk my life to save that animal. Thank you sir.
