To each their own, for sure, but no way I would have that window down. That's just me, I can't see any advantage to that. I want to see directly into the work site completely unblocked. No glass in the front.

This machine is large to say the least plus it has a tall cab riser. It is along way away from the guys in the trench. No way you can hear them without screaming.
@joerush22123 жыл бұрын
That’s a mighty fine hole just for such an easy job, why didn’t you just reduce dig the ground and then use a trench box and top box.. that’s an awful lot of time digging all that muck when it would be more efficient to dig a cofferdam

@@bcab2380 also you have enough slope you could walk out of that ditch lol. wouldn't a 390 be a lot faster tho? 5110 seem too slow for me
@bcab23802 жыл бұрын
@@Galex935 The soil was a type 2 so it had to be at least 2 to 1. This was approximately 5 m down. our crane operator likes to see in the trench as well so I try to take care of them, the company wants us operators to follow the COR rules set in Ontario. The 390 that I run has a 5 yard bucket. The 5110 has an 8 1/2 yard bucket yes it moves slower but it takes double amount of material out. But usually The company uses it for tougher ground to go through, this machine was on the site from the beginning so they did not bother floating out the 390.
