Bonnie and Clyde stopped at my great grandparents house before robbing a bank in Lancaster Texas. Asked for water to drink and gave her $20 which was about a months pay in 1934

folks still cannot connect the dots.. of that SYSTEMIC poverty and SYSTEMIC abuse being the structures that pollute and psychologically *weaponizes*any individual under those conditions. Still happens to people; those kids were scapegoated and murdered by adult economic middleclass slaves

The Highwaymen is excellent and is still on Netflix. There is one scene where Kevin Costner, playing Frank Hamer, points out a shoeprint from a woman's shoe on the body of one of the murdered police officers, indicating that it was Bonnie who pulled the trigger. I have always wondered if that tidbit was based on police reports or was a Hollywood invention.

Not questioning you at all. However I heard that Clyde’s brother actually passed away due to pneumonia- not the injuries caused by the gunshots to his head… hmmm. I live 15 miles from Shreveport Louisiana where my childhood home is… this is still a very hot topic. There’s even a Bonnie & Clyde trade days celebration near to the spot Bonnie & Clyde were killed.… the car was also shown at the state fair in Louisiana, there’s also a story about Bonnie and Clyde stopping at the general store in Logansport Louisiana close to where I live now- they wanted ammunition and moonshine. I don’t think the store provided them with ammo but possibly the liquor. But they were nice and didn’t harm anyone . As the story goes😊N.J Caraway is the name of the store in Logansport Louisiana. It was still in business until recent years. - fun facts.

It's a real shame that filmmakers cannot make a factual movie about these two. I've seen a couple, the 1968 film is fantasy.

This is a really great video that unfortunately haven't seen or commented on. Historic materials reviewed and told by the person that purchased them. It is not a waste of 1 hour. A Must see.

Just a little correction: In the many books I've read on this subject, the bodies of Bonnie & Clyde were not initially taken to a funeral home but were laid out in a furniture store.

I've just received a second hand true crime book that I bought online. The book shows evidence to have once been the property of Peabody institute library. I've done a quick search to find out more and have landed here. I'm not sure I've never looked into the Salam witch trails but I'm suddenly quite intrigued. I think I'm ready for a deep dive. Thank you 👍

Sanskrit is not a spoken language it's a written language it's like an alphabet. He probably could read and write in Sanskrit but he spoke Hindi So is it kind of a suspect that he might have been bisexual because the movie implies that he had a relationship with the man in japan. Hay todavía testing with Fantastic and evening I know that Paul Rudd did a wonderful job I think that the British actor that played Heisenberg physically looked more like Berg and that Paul run actually physically looks more like Heisenberg. I guess that's neither here nor there I just thought that was a funny observation that I noticed.

so true “A life of crime doesn’t pay”, they chose to keep stealing to survive and stay on the run. Not the type of life anyone should want. I like learning about Bonnie and Clyde and now learned about Blanche and Buck. Great explanation of how everything happened. Thank you!

@Peabody Institute Library, Danvers I thought I knew everything there was worth knowing about this duo after many different documenteries, movies, and my Pops who was a huge history buff but I was wrong. I am so glad I took a chance and watched this when it was recommended. It was incredibly informative, filling in a bunch of gaps with new information, and presented in a straight-forward and informal way. Thank you very much for sharing. I really loved it.

When they died Bonnie was only 22! Clyde was what 24? The movie with warren Beatty and the beautiful one does a disservice to reality having people in their 30-40’s playing people who were actually early 20’s. It confuses our ability to reason why someone would be so bold and gutsy. Youth is ignorant often here in particular. Plus Blanche was 81 pounds! Show that. Show pencil thin people trying to order five meals for three people. Show that in the movies. So uncomfortable.
